@raymart rodriguez I'm sad a filipino needs to compare. Do you think Regine's voice is the same as it was? Do you want me to give you the link of how her voice has changed? She's beyond great. I love her with all my heart. But saying her voice is as is as it was when she was 25 is very delusional. We shoukd not compare singers, they all deserve respect.
When she was young she had a tremendous volume of air and belted them out effortlessly. Now she has more command of the songs nuances and can communicate through her savy. Still love her
One of my all time favorite singers. I 've followed her career from day one, and will always think she is one of the best Pop Singers of all times. Her voice has changed, yes, because she is a more accomplished artist now, who has lived the ups and downs of show business and has complete power and hold over her vocals.
I love Sheena, yes her voice has changed but it's still amazing! Sheena has lived in the US for many years so of course he accent has changed as well. Geeze people, be kind!

Still an entertainer of undoubted class. She has the confidence to take the song to different places in a live setting. At times bending melody around a bit too much but the big picture stays the same. A great ballad that was mad e for her.
I remember Sheena's songs and music videos, from back in the day...I've, always, enjoyed her songs...I guess she has replaced her native Scottish accent with an adopted American one...She, still, sounds as fantastic as she ever did...If I were visiting Atlantic City, I would put watching Sheena's show on my shortlist of must-see things to do...It's great when an artist, after working hard throughout numerous decades, has a daily/weekly show that embodies her/his career and, moreover, who, still, is able to give the audience their money's worth and/or live up to or exceed their expectations...Bravo Sheena!
she still sounds great. as nearly all singers do, her voice is not as powerful as she was when she was younger but it's still great and emotional as it ever was.
This is a great song and beautiful voice. Sheena is a wonderful singer. I also love the spanish version. It was a super hit back in the 80's in Mexico and Latin America.
Nice improvisation, most who doesn't understand music as a whole wouldn't appreciate this. Anyways, ofcourse her voice will change because of age, but the timing and technique is great.
I wonder if any of you critics have ever driven in a really fine automobile? When it comes off the line, it drives exceptionally well, and sounds like Sheena in 1984. Thirty years later, it's still a wonderful car, but can't possibly sound like it did in 1984. It doesn't make it a bad automobile, but just makes it a bit older sounding then it was thirty years earlier. I'd still LOVE to ride in that car. You sound great Sheena, and keep up the good work!!!
. If I wasn't already, I am now "officially" in love with this woman!! Why? Because she does a few things here, that many performers don't bother doing (or simply, can't)......not only does she sound AND look GREAT, but she displays a REAL sense of humor....making it ABSOLUTELY clear, with all of the ups and downs her career may have had, that she doesn't take herself too seriously (seems like something that SHOULD be easy to do, but I think we've ALL seen countless examples of WAY too many celebrities who too often let their ego get in the way of their performances)! But what I love MOST about her is the fact that she shows REAL care for her fans, by taking the time to invest herself COMPLETELY into the performance of each of her songs, as she SO obviously does here!! She makes absolutely NO attempt at seeing how quickly she can get through this song (one, btw, that she has no doubt performed COUNTLESS times before!), or WORSE, simply thrown into a 'medley' of hits, which is the performer's subtle way of telling an audience, "I realize I HAVE to perform this song to keep everybody happy, but by doing it as part of a medley, I can tear through a (usually) up-tempo, much shorter version of it, much, much quicker, and still get "credit" for having included it in the set list..... " Sheena Easton.......know that no matter how many years may go by, you will ALWAYS have countless fans who will never, EVER, be "Over" YOU !! .
