This sounds counter intuitive, but try it: Set your handling to speed X, or offroad and drift, then drift on road surfaces. If you need to drift on offroad, try showcase handling, or track and drift. Finally, set traction control to OFF. Turn it on if you need to free roam properly
I’m glad to see that people are still playing heat, and my opinion it’s one of my favorite need for speed games and probably one of the best if not the best. I just wish that it actually got a second year of content before EA pulled the plug on ghost games.
True. I didn't like any modern nfs games except for heat. The reason for that is handling. This is first game since carbon where car does what you want. No input lag, avoiding traffic is easy.
Seeing the checkpoint loop you did, I was expecting this to be a contender for my drift scores. I you do that technique on all checkpoints you can get really high-scores. On the first zone I got 350,000, on the second zone I got 222,000. Goodluck
