The trails are getting WILD and I’m stoked I’ve had an excuse to take them to the next level! Every $5 spent on LZMFG.com or DriftHQ.com gets you entered for a chance to win a Podium1 Ultimate Simulator valued at over $50,000.
I honestly dig a behind the scenes of what Mike is doing! Him setting up a camera rig on the side by side is super interesting to me and James coming in too is super cool to see
Get an old box spring or mattress (just the spring frame inside) , or section of chain link. Add some weight to it, and drag behind the tractor to really smooth the trail out.
Being a former filmer myself, I can without a doubt say that you have to give Mike every single bit of credit here for what he does. I appreciate you so much man ❤❤❤
I think barriers are needed. It’s kinda difficult to make sense of the track rn. Maybe a drone shot while your ripping will help. I still think a “ Crash Bandicoot” wooden tiki signage “ ⬅️➡️” would complete the vibe.✌🏽
Thats what I said about the whole compound. It's hard to see the lay-out on camera. A map would be nice. Could even be an animated map. Just for us to know where the shops are compared to the other buildings, trails and tracks.
WHERE IS THIS FROM??? Me and my gf have been racking our brains for years now trying to remember where this (and more importantly the line: hu a ju/ who are you in the same dialect as your comment) is from 😅 heeeelp
I feel like the typical social media consumer severely underestimates the amount of work and coordination that goes into something as "simple" as a reel. Only get out of something what you put into it, great stuff.
Listening to Mike explain all the technical aspects that go into these was pretty nice. I’d imagine everyone watching knows there’s a lot of stuff behind the scenes, but having it explained to detailed was great addition to this video.
Lz we definitely need a few posters of the Safari GTR R32 sliding around corners hucking dirt and jumping and need some anime shirts of the same thing and as always keep up the great work 👍
Absolutly love this behind the scenes videoes :) showing off what everyone does except wremching cars is very refreshing and it really really showcases Mikes profesionality :)
Adam, you are not wrong. There is nothing quite like operating a bobcat or a big ol tractor on a beautiful morning like you described. Some of my best mornings were spent in a bobcat clearing and grating the land. An airconditioned one, of course.
LZ great vid and mike nailed it also and the Safari GTR R32 looks right at home in the dirt and on the trails and that RB sounds absolutely 👌 insane so good nothing beats that RB power and sound such a sick build and as always keep up the great work 👍
At night WITH ALL THE LIGHTS ON is what i was waiting for!! would be such a cool build up, where you only hear high revs and then lights and then zooming by and dirt spray in the the tail lights!!... we need that video!!!
I finally got a jz car, ur videos always made me want one, 1993 aristo with a gte nonvvti, just got it back from the fabricator for downpipes and intercooler setup, running a 6266 and i can’t wait to get it tuned!!
I really loved this episode with Mike explaining how he films the reels. Definitely one of my favorite episodes! Love the content Adam keep up the amazing work of driving the shit out of your cars.
An Ariel view of the track in the jungle world help me visualize where it's at and exactly what it is like.. you should get Mike to fly the drone up above while you rip the track
LZ your like a kid in a playground at the LZ Compound with all that machinery and toys but i would be to if i had that and the Safari GTR R32 looks right at home in the dirt and on the trails such a sick build and im still waiting for you to announce your Rally entry i know its coming from all the Safari GTR content and i think you would shred in rally with all yout FD skills cause they tend to slide thise cars alot i think you would be a natural and as always keep up the great work LZ 👍
Loved the behind the scenes with Mike! Once again another video that’s got my smiling the entire time. Def coping a sweatshirt this week! About my 10 year anniversary watching you guys figured it was time to get some swag
Love the ‘BTS’ type videos, gives me the old school vlog type vibes again! We love the silky production in the usual videos but this is awesome! Plus it makes them longer which is always a winner!!!
This is definitely my favorite build. Being such a versatile build that is capable of doing so many different things really connects with me seeing how I live in the country and have lots of dirt roads that aren't friendly to lowered cars.
Just a tip when you are fine grading in the skid steer I'd recommend only tilting the bucket no up and down lift it will make for better finish work and once you start to have whoops its way harder to correct with the machine going over the whoops making the cutting edge chage height start grade work from a flat area and it will make life easier looks like you have it down pretty good this quick already
the shake on the hard-mounted camera is also a result of the head that you used and the fact that it is mounted right above the front suspension struts. A lower centre of gravity would help a bunch too but the main culprit is the head. next time try something low-profile like a 3way leveller or a tango head. Rad to see the behind the scenes on this one - thank you for sharing!
I’m buying a jacket just because mike does such a good job filming. Love these videos Adam and Mike work so well together Mike was such a good addition to the team
Love the behind the scenes or making of videos for these shoots. Would it be worth releasing them after the promotion has dropped? Seeing the end result before the how you did it tends to have a bigger impact? GoPro or better an insta 360 (or similar) on a stick inside the corner would give some super sick angles. The car mounted stuff, would it be better to film in landscape rather than portrait so you have more frame to crop for IS in post? Did you try your 28-70 with ILIS? Did it help? I know it's the first time you were using the config of the setup you had there but would love to see a filmography take on the problem solving we see all the time here for the car stuff.
When grading with the skid steer on the right stick there's a button on the back of the stick, (push it when going down) it's called float and will auto level the bucket for it to be smoother
Maybe, where the view to the street has been cleared, you could install some mature Roman pines to create some screening and give Duarte his privacy back.
Yoo, MIIIIIKEEE!!!! I have been ABSOLUTELY LOVING how you have been adding little sections of you explaining all your camera set ups and settings and such then past couple videos!!! ❤❤❤❤ Will you PLEASE get adam to let you keep doing that?!?!? 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Mike, when mounting your camera to a car use an electronic hand held stabilizer and you will smooth footage, even if your lens doesn't have built n stabilization.
Usually off-road vehicles are higher off the ground if you could actually figure out a way to raise properly it should prevent a lot of damage to the car on those jumps
Suggestion: pack the dirt trail so you don’t rut it up so easily. Second, if you’re getting flats from the roots and other debris then slime helps if they’re small, we use it with mesquite thorns and other things on the ranch
You shoulder consider attending one of the full-length rally programs at Dirtfish in Washington. Rally is probably the coolest Motorsport out there, I wish there was more YT content of people doing actual stage rally and RallyCross.
Absolutely love the content but please implement more safety if your going this hard please get your team trained in cpr/emergency services could save a life❤❤much love from Cali
you should get whistles like they have in rallies to warn the spectators of cars coming. It would be hilarious if Booth got all dressed up in a bright orange marshalls outfit
Your camera guys are on point! Pay them more! As a business owner myself you've gotta take care of the ones that make your company look good and are dedicated to "the cause"!
Great vid, personally i think the car would be a little easier to drive overall with some more air in the tires and it prob would help with the jumps to :)
need like an hour long video of Adam and Cleetus hanging out at both of their places for like a week straight getting into all the crazy things they can such as Cleetus plane and Adams trails
Adam you need to go spend a day at the Dirtfish rally school next time your in the area! To drive AWD better you need to use the weight transfer more and much earlier to get the car setup before the corner, rather than relying on wheelspin to upset the car like in RWD. You're quite close, I think you just need to be much more aggressive.
My only concern with this dirt track is that this type of dirt makes HELLA dust when it’s dry. And the more you guys shred on it the less moisture that’s gonna be in it and you’re going to have gigantic dust clouds when you guys shred and it’s going to get in everything
you can also use the back of the bucket to backdrag and you wont leave all that material on the ground and have to scoop it up again it works kinda the same way that box attachment for your tractor does.
