This was insane. I noticed that the a.i. targets more accurately than in Iceborne. I'll say it again, this was insanely good! Can't wait for all the crazy matchups you guys make happen

@MysterE appreciate that, you're right there are so many awesome matchups possible especially with apex monsters in the mix. Although, these fights are much more difficult to get out then world ones, so I am really banking on them doing well to encourage me to make more.

@@MonsterSlayerSquad I think if you keep doing good matchups until Sunbreak releases and then start off with an massive fight like Malzeno against Magnamalo or something of that nature you'll significantly improve your chances.

While noticeably, the fight was pretty problematic when it came to what moves did damage and what moves didn't, it still was pretty entertaining, good job to both mons for putting on a hell of a fight and the people running the RU-vid channel for making this and other fights to come actually possible.

Quest: The Dirty Bubble! Slay: Almudron and Mizitsune Locale: Arena Client: Master Hojo Description: I find these two in a rare roaring competition once a year. One wanting the Shrine Ruins to be washed before mating season. The other proudly exclaiming "NEVER!". I thought "why not wash my hands of both these two for good". They'll probably take care of each other but why not let you chip in hunter?

Reward: (UNLOCK MIZITSUNE, ALMUDRON TURF WAR)! Seriously, monster who share the same Skeleton such as Nargacuga and Tigrex, Magnamalo and Zinogre, Brachydios and Glavenus not having a turfwar with eachother is one hell of a shame. They got done REAL dirty.

Man, good thing for Almudron that Mizu's bubbles don't do damage, otherwise this would've been a total wash, but he managed to keep it close. Very excited for more Rise fights in the future, I didn't track the numbers well but I do feel like Waterblights softening affect really played a role here and that just makes me more excited to see how other elemental brights will change fights. And I personally greatly appreciate the change between musics, it helps me keep interested much more than if it was just Rise's arena theme alone for 15 minutes. It's good but not that good. All around a very entertaining video 👍👍

@Im the Catman your right, one of the things that really interested me was the blights in these fights. You'll see in the next few fights how other blights can have a huge impact. Also thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you liked the change we did in the music.

actually, mizus bubbles did do damage, the health bar was just delayed fro some reason, a whole bubble wash if all of them hit do 313 damage i think

Pretty darn fun! Interesting to see how the damage calculations are both similar yet different in Rise compared to World/Iceborne. Can't wait to see more of them, especially involving my main man Bazelgeuse!

Honestly that's kinda cool, why doesn't sunbreak introduce a "arena" mechanic which pins 2 captured monsters up against each other, if you cut off parts like its tail or broke its head those aspects stay but you can watch them fight each other to the death. They could even make it so if you pin those monsters the victor becomes powered up, gains new attacks or even becomes a variant for you to hunt.

This fight was fantastic to witness, I was rooting for Mizutsune from the start but I was convinced it was gonna lose early on. All of a sudden it made this miraculous comeback and there were bubbles everywhere and it actually WON?! That’s what I love about these fights, you never know who the true victor will be 😄

This was incredible the monsters seem way more accurate with targeting and when you take away the riding thing it really looks like they’re truly fighting. I think 3 fights I’d like to see is Rakna-Kadaki Vs Rathalos (A king Vs a queen) Magnamalo Vs Zinogre (I just think that’ll be cool) and Apex Azuros Vs Goss Harag (Self explanatory)

One suggestion I'd make is enlarging the healthbars, as the numbers are currently pretty hard to see

This was a pretty close Fight,Almudron dominated the start, and middlesection, but Mizus pure physical strenght and agression was higher then Almudrons. The Ragemode realy did a lot of Work here. And at the start of the Fight, I realized, most of Mizus range Attacks wont inflict Damage, or Bubble Bind, so I was sure Almudron would win, because at least most of his Mud sould inflict Damage. Pleasant surprise. Also, props for giving us the one Turfwar we wanted since Almudron was anounced.

@@Amatsu_storm_approach Almudron has a less well developed physical Moveset, and at least for me it looked like Mizus Hits dealed out more damage, but numbers where to small to realy look it up.

Let's go! Really excited that we finally get a rise fight! This opens a lot of new versus, I can't wait to see valstrax in one of them, but I guess it will be difficult because of the ambush, nonetheless I'm really hyped to see the next ones!

@Strange gamer thanks the suggestion and appreciate your concern; however polls are not reliable and not many people in my channel participate. On the other hand, i have seen a growth in the number of members/patreon, so I guess I will make my decision around that going forward with these Rise fights. I really don't want to damage my channel anymore with these Rise fights seeing as they are quite unpopular with the community.

Lol, I know Almudron was a hard boi compared to Mizu, but wow, he does have much more HP Not to mention the clear size difference :V Edit: This battle was probably the most entertaining I have ever watched in your channel, like..., It was very cool and close. At first I thought dirty boi was the one willing to win but at the end Mizu did win..., Pretty surprising, still the battle was very good and both monster had hell of a fight

I hope someones answer this, cause i'm really confuse.. So Almudron and Mizutsune are Leviathans right, which has the same skeleton as Lagiacruis and their body also touch too much on the ground which is one of the reason why Lagiacrus is hard to put on latest MH.. So why Almudron and Mizutsune is already on Rise but Lagiacrus isn't. What's their differences..?
