Eric Cartman It would be okay if they mentioned that she was adopted in the movie, but if they are trying to sell her as the biological daughter of the Rock, it takes away from the movie and makes the whole thing less believable.

markalexander774 she wasn't adopted, that's what makes it silly. plus, another thing what bugged me was, Rock's like some high level rescue dude like he's in a senior rank, but when shit goes down, he forgets about his duty and goes ONLY after saving his wife from a rooftop and then goes looking for his daughter...isn't that like totally against his code of conduct and he's in a conflict of interest situation? imagine if all early responders went to save their family members when shit went down, we're doomed lol

BrotherAlpha Yeah, the 18% on RT just means that only 18% of the critics gave it a "fresh" rating, has nothing to do with how good or bad a film is. There is an average rating for it though which is at 4.3/10 at the moment so WTF actually gave lower scores than the average RT critic.

Eb N If the other movie you are referring to is Accidental Love then I don't think that is fair to even really judge that movie considering that it was never even finished. That movie never stood a chance.

I'm brown (Indian), so I hope I have your blessing in expressing my opinion, my Lord. Dude, listen to people and what they say, listen to the nuance and meaning behind the expression of some opinion. It serves you no purpose as a human being, as a film fan and even as someone fighting for justice in this world to distill complex humans into these silly categories. Ben being white has little to do with the opinion, he's talking about the way in which that aspect of Hawaiian culture is DEPICTED in the film, not that it's something unimportant. He doesn't care that it's an all white film because that aspect of the story is not a pivotal thing in the film. If it were a film ABOUT, or even properly highlighting that cultural phenomenon, AND then it was an all-white people, one would probably have to scrutinize. But this film is not that. EDIT: Ya ya, obviously I know I'm replying to a 2 year old comment. But if I have some purpose in this life and on this planet, it's to fight against the erosion of nuance and communication in society.
