Very grateful for another trail for you to have shared. You are one of my favourite RU-vidrs to watch, you capture everything about backpacking that I love. You seem to have a slight air of honest vulnerability that I really connect with too when I’m out on trail, being absorbed by the outdoors really does seem to heighten the bodies senses. Well done on the high mileage achievement.

A great video and thanks for sharing. I’m planning on walking the Ridgeway next year in reverse as part of a longer route starting at Ivinghoe Beacon and walking the Ridgeway and then from Avebury dropping down to Stonehenge before heading across to Glastonbury and finishing up on Glastonbury Tor.

Well done mate a great acheivement. I can understand why you did so much stretching with the miles put in each day. The sky duel between the Sparrowhawk and Red Kite was really cool.

Love watching your videos and getting a feel for what the trails are like in the UK. Are you able to say what the olive green fleece/ long sleeve is and who its by? It looks quite comfortable and lightweight - shown around the 13:50 mark. Thanks for taking the time to document your trails!

I love watching these long distance walks. Hopefully your body was still in one piece after finishing. My parents tell me they did the Keswick to Barrow walk 3 times while they were in their twenties - I don't believe them even though they have the certificates to prove it. I can't fathom walking anything past twenty miles - I'm guessing at some point it's mind over matter. 👏

Loved this video, but I have to confess a vested interest! That night you spent in the pub at Princes Risborough was probably my worst night camping ever and the lowest point of the trail.
