ALONE IN THE SKINWALKER FOREST

And while I enjoyed this video, all I could think about was both of your safety. Who knows what kind of folks could've been lurking there, watching you from the dark. Paranormal is one thing, but living, breathing, creepy buggers in the woods at night is something to be genuinely scared of.

For future reference Elliot, if your light dies in the middle of the woods at night you have all our permissions to use your phone light to stay alive rather than film yourself for our sake

Me living in Appalachia- absolutely not. Every big predator imaginable. Nope. The screams for y’all were likely the foxes. ‘Is there a skin walker there that wants to talk to me’ sent me. 😂 pretty sure they’re more into wearing you than talking to you. The fact that you both smelled and mentioned the smell of blood….that was genuinely really freaky.

Terrifying ordeal!!! So many things in the forest want to eat you or cause you great harm, be it animal or human. Never split up, never leave the trail if you're on one. Carry protection!! Always have a spare flashlight, a plan 'b' and a plan 'c. Long range walkie talkies could be helpful, and maybe both of you could have a cat ball on hand, so if you get lost you could keep setting it off, to establish that if it's flashing colored lights, it definitely won't be a vehicle, and you'll know (silently) that it's either your mate . . . or a spaceship. LMAO! 🤣💚.And Joe, I cringed huge when you went off the path.

Got a couple things to show you guys, so bear with me. @4:39, just after Joe says about 50 ft away from him, he can hear something walking, there's a light to the left of the lit up tree on the right. Actually, there's quite a few times we could see lights in the forest that wasn't the moon - they were far too low. Are there yard lights on properties surrounding the forest?

You two have balls of steel to go alone into the forest and then split up. This is probably one of my favorite videos you have done to date. Love you two.

Remember Foxes screams can be very, very human like and horrible sounding. And in the woods at night when you are frightened 😮

Knowing the night sky will always help you orientate if you feel lost.

I have to admit this whole thing makes me laugh - but as I am watching these backwards I knew you were both ok lol! are you two city boys? one thing I know about the country is its noisy at night, and badgers are low to the ground and quite heavy!! also foxes are like cats - they make a lot of noise when they meet another fox - they can sound like a woman screaming! skin walkers are a native american myth - similar to our werewolf myth, I'm pretty sure in our tiny overpopulated country they would be noticed! but you still made my day with this one!! the trick to finding someone in the dark - call out every few steps! but as someone was shooting around you before I can see why you were loathed to do it! maybe take a whistle next time! well done though - very entertaining!

The editing and switching back and forth is such a brilliant idea guys!! I really could not go off alone at night in a forest, now that I know how active they really are. Even if it is an animal, what KIND of animal, Hmm?? But where you are from , so many spirits! I am so on edge watching this.. Just breathe...(Had to remind myself to breathe between fits of laughter and jumpscares!) A most excellent job guys! I have to ask, do you have large predatory, dangerous to human type animals there? Our forests in Oregon do not sound like that, although you do hear branches breaking all the time, frogs, crickets and sometimes owls, witches incantations and other types of activities. We have bears and cougars to watch out for mostly, as far as animals go. Oh, and where I live, bodies.

You two are mad ! Who was shooting at you ? WTF! Genuine appreciation you mad souls ! I wouldn’t go out there in the dark! I walk in these places during the day and still trip and loose my way and get spooked- never would I go in the dark -so respect to you both. hey guys, you both need to carry a spare torch each. because you should never trust having one torch for going out at night, defiantly in the forest.. due to your situation now Elliot, and phone led light isn't the best. i never go out without carrying at least 4 torches. as light is essential in these situations, and this is bloody frightening!! i think the sounds you guys were hearing was foxes crying out! they have a very distinctive bark! great video guys, please be safe and god bless you both. 👍👍👍👍👍THUMBS UP👍👍👍👍👍 Anthony, Derby, UK

Not for nothing, but it's never a good sign when you don't hear bugs/animals etc., ... they're a good indicator of potential danger.

I have heard all kinds of strange noises.. we were trying to find Sasquatches because they were seen in these areas! It was a bit freaky. Next time try having back up light sources, unless of course they might die as well 😬 then it would be pointless. Anyways it was a great video as always! Can’t wait for your next one. I thought I heard music at one point in the background and a whistle at least once. You need to look into walkie talkies so that if you get separated and need help, you can get in touch with each other and don't have to rely on your cellphones.

Great vid gentlemen. I used to live right on the edge of a forest (famous one in Suffolk connected to Rendlesham UFO)…..I was told never, ever go in after dark due to paranormal occurrences. I did, wished I didn’t. So, know how you guys felt. It’s really un nerving.

One of my favorites from your videos and there’s so many times that I can hear voices around the both of you saying that you need to get out of there or they’re coming to get you or once I heard someone say to Elliot they’re coming to get you , All kinds of stuff can be heard from both of your cameras , specifically the time of 34:52 to 34:55 is when I hear the thing saying to You Elliot about there coming to get you that is scary stuff and then the sound of the Skin Walker OMG 😳 I would have never survived going to those woods if I had a idea that was in the woods nope nope!!!!! But still in all honestly a great video love you guys and so glad you made it through it and we got to see the video!!! !!!!!!

Kia ora again from New Zealand. This forest is fascinating. I can see why it fascinates you! A few more suggestions that I'm sure you've probably thought of now. (1) Torches and batteries for Africa - I always live in fear of being in the dark in a situation like that. You can't have enough insurance. More torches. More batteries! (2) I have a really powerful whistle that I use in case I need to summon help. If you guys get a good whistle each it can help you find each other in situations like this. I also blow it at investigations as a way of alerting anything (entity wise( in the area that I am there if they want to come and say "Hi". (3) It would be great if you can find the money to buy a couple of 'trail-cams' (usually used for game spotting) that you can set up in a couple of locations over night (and come back next day and download the footage) to give you a better idea of the normal animal noise and activity in the forest. A trail cam at the murder farm would be excellent. I am really looking forwards to seeing your film. It gave me the idea for another film (maybe like the one you've already made?). The cast is you guys (two paranormal researchers), a couple of poachers from the nearby housing estate, the ghost of a murdered woman who wanders the forest all night trying to find her way out but of course she never can and maybe a monster or just the idea of one (you don't need to show it). Keep it up guys but be careful! More torches! Whistles!

Fairly new follower of the 2 of you and can’t get enough. Scrolled through your old videos hoping there was one I had somehow missed and , to my guilty pleasure, found this one. And yes, it was the only one I’d missed. Anyway, your vids now always say to wear headphones… and I’m nothing if not a people pleaser…so I always put mine on. Because I had them on, when the video came back to Elliot inside one of the bunkers at around 18:20 and the spooky music popped into my ear holes louder than anything up to that point…I nearly jumped out of my recliner! 😂😂😂 You about gave this old lady a heart attack! This reminds me of growing up and knocking around the woods in the night because, growing up in a small secluded welsh village, there was very little else to do! Even after knowing the woods by night like the back of my hand their were alot of very strange things, sights and sounds that would just make your hair stand on end and make every ounce of your being want to get out as fast as possible! Including a spine chilling scream that was heard by several different people at different times! Just so happens that a prostitute was murdered and her body was dropped down one of the old abandoned mine shafts back in the 60's! Great video guys love the content

I love the woods. Would be neat to have someone set up a camera recording either or both day or night, near the woods or in an area or clearing where the camera could simply over and pan about to record everything say like in a 100 plus degree area. For me, even if there is nothing seen, the peace of the area would be something to enjoy.
