I had no idea that it was originally Horton who convinces Jojo to use his Hunches and thinks to return home! Honestly, it’s more fitting now that the Cat is the one who leads Jojo to that discovery.
I personally think Cathy Rigby was the best of the original Cats - she was hilarious in the moments just before this scene. "This isn't Les Mis! You can't kill the kid!"
That Horton scene tho... this is my first time seeing it. Say what you will about Jojo being whisked around in the Cat's storytelling making the show better, but this scene should have been kept in, as much as we like hearing Jojo tell the cat off for all his troubles. It shows that Jojo still believes in Horton and how he always sees him there, even if he's just a think.
