Alone on a mountain wild camping - from sun to zero visibility and high winds

Wicked wind and fingers of fog coming over the hills and mountains, cold dampness. Like an early summer day in Newfoundland Canada. My arthritis is even acting up watching you. Burr. Only +9 Celsius. With that wind, I would find it quite cold no doubt.

Nice one 👍 that's a cracking wee hill i camped on it a couple of winters ago. That's the main downside of tunnel tents If you're pitching into the wind you can have limited views. That's why I am liking some style tents with two doors nowadays 👌 Got to love the Galloways Hills you can go into them for a few days and not see another soul. Was camping up on Ben Vorlich last week and was like sauchiehall street😖😂

I stay in the SW deserts of the US in the winter. The winds are so gusty and strong we advise tourists to write their phone number on their tent so that WHEN it blows away maybe someone will call and they can get it back, what's left of it anyway!!
