Just went to one of Woniya's talks on connection as a survival skill - such a profound and positive message! She is a very wise soul and doing good work to spread the message of compassion, connection, gratitude, and humility when living in nature. Thank you.

Not sure how much killing you have done but one things for sure I have killed thousands of birds, deer, rabbit...... you name it... And the older I get the more I see the true beauty of Gods creation and realize it takes a very long time to create life but only a second to destroy it. It saddens me to see the fire of life leave somethings eyes so I just kill only what I absolutely have to these days.

Woniya is the first and only female competitor on Alone that I both admire and respect. She was a person who seemed to truly understand the actual art of survival and who made desperate, but incredibly smart choices to stay in the game... it doesn't surprise me that she made it so far, considering her upbringing, background and the challenges she's faced in her life. I still have not finished watching Season 6 so I don't know if she wins or Logan does, but this is also the first and only time I like both the finalist competitors so much, that I will feel happy if either wins, but also sad for whomever comes in second, because they both are so deserving of winning! I guess I'll soon find out.

The other woman Nikki: Cut herself, fell on her own arrow, burned her own shelter, and failed to finish off a squirrel and let herself get bit by it.

She did; she talks about it in her book. She tanned the skins and ate the bones of the animals she caught.

I knew jordan was winning too but mostly the others give up because they miss home or get hurt. Jordan was locked in and didnt whine about his wife and all that stuff. He had great skills obviously, but it's the mental game that wins and he was locked in and blocked out the sobby alone thing.

Woniya hadnt eaten real meat for 2 weeks. Thatll be tough to come back from. As Bill said the taking of a big game animal will be key to lasting the distance. We're still not really getting a good look at everyone ether.

Whoever the fattest person on the show will win even though they show absolutely no survival skills... i.e. Sam. Every season, the person who deserves to win, never does because they lose 5 pounds and they are out.

Most people who win outlast the others by staying mentally strong and blocking out the wife and kids and all that. A lot of players had great skill, but the boredom and loneliness usually takes them out. Jordan was locked in on that part.

Bill Randall I get how you would make it mate but Gill nets are effective because of how fine and virtually impossible for the fish to see because of the colour of the mesh do you think you could get the strips of tarp fine enough while maintaining it’s strength?this is a genuine question btw I know you get a lot of flak for your comments but you do actually make some valid points

Anybody notice when Nikki stabbed her leg with arrow...when she took her pants off to look at the wound that she didn’t have any hair on her leg. After 15 days she’d have stubble at least. I can’t imagine that she’d bother with shaving her legs in a survival situation. I call BS on the show. Too bad, because I enjoy watching.

Nikki most likely waxed her legs. Woniya mentions in her book that she once tried washing her hair at the lake but never tried again because of how much of a mistake it was. The show is also genuine and requires a medical recovery period monitored by doctors.

Have you gone 2 weeks on a few berries a day ,protein and fats are what your body craves to keep going in these conditions creating a emotional rollercoaster at times she is humbled and showing thankfulness .
