Cooking in brass utensils is something that has been around for a while. It has been a part of our magnificent history.
Ingredients:
(For aloo tamatar sabji)
- Oil: 2 tbsp
- Jeera: 1 tsp
- Bay leaf: 2
- Cinnamon stick: 2 inch
- Tomato puree: 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste- Red chilli powder- turmeric powder- coriander powder
- Slited green chillies: 2
- Heeng: 1/2 tsp
- Boiled & mashed potatoes: 2 cups
- Water: as required
- Chopped coriander leaves: handful
- Kasoori methi: 1 tbsp
(For Masala Poori)
- Wheat flour- 2 cups
- Sooji: 1/2 cup
- Salt- Red chilli- Coriander powder- Turmeric powder- jeera powder
- Kasoori methi: 1 tbsp
- Ghee: 2 tbsp
- Ajwain: 1 tsp
- Water : as required
- Oil to deep fry
