Alopochen aegyptiaca. The sexual dimorphism is quite small but the gander is the one with the darker legs.
Unbeknownst to us they nested in a large Araucaria araucana close to the house. We saw them resting on the roofs of the neighbour houses but never thought they would nest in our garden. Quite a surprise!
