He was designed by Len Cirelli in 1994 and was manufactured exclusively for the Home Shopping Club. He is dressed in a mystical fabulous purple and gold cloak/wizard's robe. He takes 3 AA batteries (not included). When you press the gem on his hand, he says: "You can't judge a bear by his strong bellow. To know him, first you must meet the fellow" "Be as wise as a bear, as busy as a bee. You can make your own magic just like me" "For the most magical charm, here's what to do. Bear your heart and say "I love You". He looks quite wise with his white hair and beard - he does have a few fiberoptic type of strands in his hair that light up as well.
