Synopsis: ' Konttho ' is a film which revolves around the life of a successful RJ Arjun Mallik whose life suddenly screeches a break when he gets diagnosed by Laryngeal Cancer. The whole world around him comes crashing down in front of him. The first hindrance was his profession. His wife, Pritha, played by Paoli Dam is herself a voice artist. Depression takes over Arjun when he can see his wife performing and his own career crashing down in front of him. In the meantime, Romilla- A speech therapist, played by Jaya Ahsan starts training Arjun to speak with Esophageal voice and soon after that Arjun’s life takes a positive turn.

মাঝে মাঝে আমরা আমাদের জীবনের খুব ছোটো সমস্যাকে অনেক বড় মনে করে ফেলি।কিন্তু এইসব মানুষরা আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয় যে সমস্যার আসল সংজ্ঞা টা ঠিক কি আর তাকেও চেষ্টা দিয়ে জয় করা সম্ভব। আপনাকে কুর্নিশ স্যার।

I still remember about 8-9 years back I took my father in law to Dr. Banerjee. He not only suggested me not to go for heart operation of my father in law but to keep on doing medications prescribed by him. My father in law not only survived without operation but lived longer than he would hv survived after operation. He changed so many people's life in my family. He is fighter with dignity. Salute to Dr Avijit Banerjee. Today after consultation for my brother in law he suggested us this movie. Going to see tomorrow.

ছবিটি কাল দেখলাম , দুর্দান্ত! সকলের দেখা উচিৎ ।কিন্তুএকটা কথা মনে হল, ডাক্তার যাঁরা রয়েছন তাঁরা কি রোগীকে এত সময় দেন ? যদি এতটুকুও রোগীকে সময়ে attend করলে অনেক মৃত্যু আটকানো যেতো । ডাক্তারবাবুদের এত তৎপরতা সিনেমাতেই হয় মনে হয় ! ২২,০৫, ১৯
