Great video. If one were to carry cash in the mini is there a discreet pocket or an optimal pocket inside that has a zipper. The only zippers I see are one of the outside of the pouch or zipper for the main pocket. Do you think that there is a good pocket that fits cash or is it simply not the right bag. Thanks!

Does anyone know if either bag will fit a Fujifilm x-t5 with a pancake lens?

I own both and I cannot stop using the Mini, I love it. But with a minor gripe, and it's the pen loop. It's overbuilt, and should have been placed much higher. It hinders use of those mesh pockets. If you take a look at the Aer slim pouch, I don't think they promoted as a pen holder, but their little name tag on the inside is set high and holds a pen perfectly and out the way. Make sense? Lol

An iPhone 12 Pro Max with a slim-ish otterbox symmetry case wouldn’t fit in the outside pocket at all? I got the utility pouch from Alpaka but it might be a bit too small for me😔

I really want to fit my Maxpedition Mini into this case but from the measurements I have seen it doesn't look like it will fit. Can anybody confirm?

Thanks for doing this comparison video. I thought the mini would be too small and was confused between which one to pick for a Long time but this video helped me make the decision.

I got rid of the zipper pulls and used paracord as a replacement. Also i got the newer version of the tech case. love both version but I like the newer version a bit more, with the changings they made. I might get the mini one..

Good video, thank you for your time and effort. I agree with video. I have the Mini and next up is the tech case. I hope it's useful for me. I really like Alpaka gear and they are always tweaking designs and seem to really care about making small changes and offering many different configurations. It's hard to please everyone, they all have different needs and Alpaka seems to respond to changes that may help near packing perfection. I have the stabilization strap to help avoid the natural resting place when in sling mode front or back. I haven't figured out how to use it yet but thats what I'mresearching now. The Tech Mini is a very good pouch, just remember that every pouch will fit everyone's need differently so there really doesn't seem like there is a bad pouch just a pouch that isn't for you. Keep looking there are many great configurations. I also have the Clutch pro, the small pro puch that looks like a small coiin purse and the Ark Bi-Fold Wallet which is absolutely primo. I'm really digging the dark and olive greens. If someone can ever figure out where to get the type of jackets the models are wearing in the instagram style photos and in the shop app, please drop a comment. I wrote to the company a couple different times with no resp[onse. I like the look of the material and the sleekness for a few perticular engagments as it would fit the criterea perfect. I'm hoping to find out what kind of material or similar jackets and where they can be found. Thank oyu.

I got the mini. (before I saw this), it works really well as a sling, but its to thin for what I try to put in it, so I ended up giving away and getting a wandrd tech bag medium. I'm won over by the sling functionality on these tech cases. I may end up getting the newly redesigned Alpaka Tech Case mini v1.2 to supplement the wandrd for when I need to bring more. It can fit an ipad mini (the wandrd and mini are too small) as well as bigger 24k power banks or bigger laptop power bricks/x100 sized cameras. I'd get a thicker strap though if I'm holding that much weight.

Can you help? I'm looking like a sling bag that I can wear on my back when cycling (back bent forwards 45 degrees), and that won't slip down to my side. What is the right way to go? A sling bag capable of staying in this position is one option. Another, is a sling bag that has an additional strap that acts as a tether to keep it in place. A third option is a sling bag that converts into a small backpack? Waterproof or at least water resistant would be preferable. Can you help identify a solution for this?

I use the Elements tech case and fill it up with River Rocks, then leave the strap extra long. My phone and accessories are in my pockets and jacket Pockets. This tech case sure makes a nice Socking Bag and very effective when fill with solid river rocks. I ride NYC Subways, until we get our 2nd amendment rights restored "Soon 🤞", My Elements Tech Case will be filled with River Rocks. Thanks for sharing. 🤗
