Happy 70th birthday to Africa's greatest reggae artist. I had the pleasure of meeting Alpha backstage at a reggae festival I was covering back in the early 2000's. He was totally down to Earth, low key and approachable. I shook his hand and thanked him for his music; he hugged me and thanked me for being a fan of it. Such a sweet man, and he sounds as good as ever here.

70 years young Alpha....we wish you all the best.
