I just purchased the Alpha Outlaw Razor and I have to say I really do love it. This is the first razor that I ever used that was not "mild" but I have had no problems whatsoever with it. Instead of my usual 3.5 passes, I am down to 2.5 with the Alpha. I have a beautiful Timeless SS Razor (0.62 blade gap) that I love as well. That is milder than the Alpha, so nice that I have a choice depending on how many days beard growth I have, or just my mood. I am a true fan of the Alpha Outlaw! Great review Rud.
Thanks Mr. Ruds for a great review. There is also an "M" plate (mild) in the works and will be out in about 4-6 weeks. The M plate will have a .51mm blade gap. Turns this razor into a very usable daily shaver for those that like to shave daily.
Hi Ruds- Great shave and razor review; thank you! A very nice-looking razor and thank you for the discount code; much appreciated! I hope you have a great Fourth of July weekend ahead 🇺🇸! Take good care and be safe and be well. Best regards, as always, Ruds!
9.3 mm tall, huh ... that's pretty darn short :-D I'm guessing you meant 9.3 cm tall. Thanks for the review Ruds, sounds a bit too aggressive for my taste, but I'm sure there are plenty of others out there who like that level of aggression.
Great shave and review, Ruds! I was wondering about the blade clamping of this razor. Does it seem to have good edge control and no blade chatter? Thanks! Cheers! -Rob
Thank you very much, Rud, for your very informative video. One question: what can you say about the razor tolerances? Is there any play when you put the blade in the cap or the blade keeps well fixed? Thank you in advance.
Great question. The tolerances are good. The blade seats centered and when you clamp the top cap and base plate down there is no chatter or room for movement.
