I really love this video, it makes me so happy. I can't stop loving my Alma Mater😆😆. Mr. Reid looks so happy & vibrant, I want to remember him just like that. ..R.I.P. Sydney Reid
I’ll never forget Mr. Reid💕💖May he rest in peace. During our first swimming lesson September 1978, he put us in groups of two’s and said ‘ jump in the deep end, don’t worry I have the pole” I was a nervous wreck, but was swimming without fear in a few weeks💞💖
Thank you for making this video🥰seeing girls so happy and joyful makes me incredibly grateful. The teachers and friends who were in my life more than 40 years ago grounded me. They helped me to stay on a simple narrow path. Yes, I am grateful for all of them and I continue to be a happy and joyful 53 year old human.

I am so overjoyed to see this video. When I returned to Alpha in May I asked the graduating class to do it as their leaving project. This has so many bittersweet moments, Seeing Sydney Reid so HAPPY brought tears to my eyes, However, we have this happy moment to take us through the sorrow. Thanks Velia Espeut for sharing.
I have many friends who went to Alpha! This video makes me happy but I'd be even happier if I could re-connect with Lorna Simmons; after she completed O levels at Alpha, we did A levels at XLCR together.
