Hey Jackson I have never seen your channel but I think you are right about Alpha Parka's I been buying them for years, They use to make a Heavy Duty version with a much stiffer shell made out of a nylon type PVC which is 100% waterproof, But there is one thing to remember and that is these Military Parka's were made for Extreme Cold Weather and when it is that cold it does not rain and the Snow is Dry, Your Parka is Rated to -20*f / -28.8*c and as long as you layer your cloths it will keep you warmer in much colder Temps, Anyway Mate Thanks for the great Video, And I must say you have a lot of Style and Great Dress Sense, Thanks again.
Your outfit and enthusiasm in the thumbnail literally forced me to click on this when I searched for parkas. One of the few videos I've liked within the first couple of minutes. Thanks for the review, I'll be picking up one of the parka's using your link. Oh, I'm not going to forget to hit the notification bell.
Great review, excellent top quality video. Love your dress, and presenting style. If your subscriber numbers don’t go through the roof, I despair of humanity, mate! 😉
Nice video, Yeah I know all about cold very cold winters i'm from Waterford Twnship Michigan and my relatives alot of them are from Campbell, Youngstown, Boardman. They started out in Knoxville Tennessee and were contracted by the military. If you really want an original alpha industries jacket not made in a sweat shop your best bet would be to go to an Army Navy surplus store. You will then be able to compare the two jackets
Hi Coopscorner, love your Alpha Reviews. One Question: Is it possible that you make a Review to B15-3 TT, wow warm it is in compare to the classic MA-1? Keep up and best regards from Frankfurt, Germany
I bought the bomber and it fit me perfect in a regular non slim fit xl, would I choose the same size in the parka for a similar fit? Love these Alpha Industries styles! My bomber is super warm and looks good. I love it! The parka looks fantastic.
I’m usually an XL in jackets and coats, and I’m average build, not muscular but slightly broad shoulders. I’m 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds. Is the slim fit big enough to layer with a sweater underneath? I don’t want it to feel too constricting but I also like the idea of a modern cut. I’m thinking about the XL and a slim fit in this jacket, what do you think? Love your videos!
Hi ur video is dope! I just got my M1 flight jacket and I saw something that really shocked me. The jacket is tagged with made in China ( I got it from urban outfitters) I was like wtf isn’t alpha Industries like a contractor to the us military or something?? I’m just wondering are they supposed to be made in China or it’s just because I got it from urban outfitters. Thank you
How is the sizing between the 2, is the Parka bigger than the bomber when using the same size?. I have an AI XL bomber which is really too small for me but I am guessing a Parka is a bigger fit?
Alpha Industries is definitely a good jacket I've got three of them. I also like some The North Face jackets. From time to time I'll find a Nautica jacket that's nice. I also like Navy pea coats.
This is a super dope video! Would you recommend for taller guys? I’m right at that border where for some brands I can do a regular size and for others I need a tall size.
Okay I just got two jackets from Alpha and the question is are you supposed to remove the red key chain? Idk I just don’t want it to be too in your face
Hey, got a question! Are the pockets on the parka lined with something like felt or similar... Or are they made from the same material as the jacket? I've got a bomber which is pretty warm except the pockets, that's my only complaint with the jacket
@@COOPSCORNER thanks for the quick reply man, i think I'm gonna have to pass on it, at - 20 Celsius a pocket without a lining just doesn't cut it, and i hate wearing gloves.
You can get the coat from the alpha industries website - their German site ships to Europe. I just got myself a N2-B. Stylefile (another German site) have a few discounted coats and jackets, but they have mixed reviews.
