You're right. I'm pretty sure if I listened to this recording without looking at a video I wouldn't believe it was done with a V Sample and nothing else.
This is hands down the BEST korg device demo I HAVE EVER SEEN. This is so amazing how you are doing variety of SO MANY genres and styles. You should be proud of yourself man!
Almost 25 years ago, I pre-ordered an MC-303 after seeing a demo like this that absolutely nailed what it could do. I was on the fence about the Volca sample until I saw this, as ALMOST ALL the demo's and reviews I've seen have been below mediocre. Now I'm convinced I need one.
Good job with this! I like how the transitions were done by cutting the low frequencies, changing tempo, and then bringing lows back in! Well played my friend.
Fun jam. Love the volcas !!! They got me throught hurricaine Matthew....jamming on my own. Glad I had all the batteries hanging around. Volcas are dope !!!
This is the dog's bollocks, the cat's whisker, or whatever your preference! Great sounds, musical ideas, performance and operation! My only criticism - Korg has designed and manufactured the Volca series to be so small - great for people with tiny hands!
I just won one of these and was thinking about selling it . . . now I don't think so!! This video proves without a doubt, it fits in with the rest of the gear! Good job man!
This jam is an electronic masterpiece. I was not expecting that ride through the styles. You should do minimalist tech house tracks...you have the touch. Those grooves are sublime. :)
Very nifty little box, and very retro old school red LED's.... paired up with SingleCellSoftware's CEVS VolcaSample Editor, can let you do some really cool things.
Nicely done! How about you zip up a sample pack or two and make them available for those of use who can't pick the right samples to save our lives, but really can play the Sample. Please? Once again, you schooled that Korg nicely.
