wow, there's...... A LOT of unexpected stuff going on in this battle : -how CLOSE it actually was -how great each of their 2nd turns plays (both summoning 2 alpha owryu AND the zhuqiao pop-offs) -how it basically ends with an Alpha vs Omega -how Alpha reach the bottom of it's deck, leave 1 card on his deck, AND still won. great battle on both sides tbh, but somebody gonna ended up taking the W, and it ended up being Alpha. ggs for both warriors man, ggs.

This was an incredibly tense match. The Pheonixmon deck showed a fantastic record throughout this tournament. Probably the one deck which I’ve been amazed at this whole time. It may have lost but wow, it gave Alphamon a run for his money. I do love that digivolution at the end where he goes “I will remember your name and this battle.” So it’s Marcus vs Alphamon for the finale.

Wow this match is one of the best match so far in this tournament, very back and forth and super intense in every turn. Well done!!!

Welp. I'd say this is the second best video on the channel behind the deck out victory in galaticmon vs the nume-suka deck. Kinda sad about the outcome though. At least both decks got to pop off as hard as possibe. Although it would be nice to see a valdurmon made as support for the Phoenixmon deck and it isnt just forgotten like the linkz deck. And also somthing to speed them up too.

Saw the length of the video and was expecting a banger. But even that exceeded expectations. Birb deck took on 3 Alpha Oryukuen’s and literally only lost because Alpha is able to cycle through its deck at such an amazing rate Finals is gonna be something serious to look forward to

Looks like we won't be having a Damon sibling match, what a shame. But I'm so exciting to see the final match round between Alphamon and Marcus. This is gonna be cool

Even with merciful mode, the birb gang couldn't handle the original leader. Now Alphamon has one more Daimon sibling to finish off to avenge his master.

Garudamon put up a hell of a fight. It's quickly becoming my favorite rogue deck.

I think Phoenixmon is one of the coolest deck ever, keeping the match vs Alphamon

Shame Chika couldn’t get to the finals but now I imagine after seeing this and his fight with Rina he’s been able to snap out of the rage state from his fight with Yggdrasill. Now he can fight Alphamon with a clear head.

Now, this one makes up for the previous round's odd fight. It was intense, brutal, it had me on the edge of my seat the whole game...and it represents very well the sheer tenacity of the Alphamon deck, to pull out a brutal victory even if your deck has been emptied. Sadly, I fear that my boy won't be able to pull a good fight on the opression that is Masaru and Shinegreymon, but it cannot be helped. It will fight with honor, regardless.

This was so awesome!!! Wow biyomon is incredible. Im gonna try to build this deck. I just need 2 more copies of pheonixmon bt11 , and sora is gonna get her ace soon. Fingers crossed they make her a memory tamer set to 3 Just because she's OG so she should optimal for this biyo build and I dont like seeing hero in this.

Great video Rustmarrow! You are slowly becoming equal to CardProtag content wise for me. I do have a quick aside, though. @12:28 outside of passing turn cheaply, why play Kongou? Shouldn't their board still be under BT-13 Alphamon's effect? As it is not an All Turns effect, I don't believe he needs to be the active card on the field in order for the digimon to be stopped from attacking. This is further supported by the idea that the opponent's digimon *themselves* gain the inability to attack. Supported by the idea that they can't attack even if they digivolve into a card that costs 10 or more. Here's a ruling from the Digimon Wiki: Q: For this card's [On Play] [When Digivolving] effect, if during the next turn the opponent digivolves from a Digimon with a play cost of 9 or less into a Digimon with an appearance cost of 10 or more, can that Digimon attack? A: No, it cannot. [1] To me, this indicates that it is essentially a "Digimon Gain" effect. And that the Kongou wasn't needed to stop their board.

I was really rooting for the Garudamon, but deep down I knew it was over the moment Cool Boy hit the field. Bird deck was on a roll, but there just wasn't any way it could win against the menace that is Alphamon. Still, loved how the match turned out, it even gave me a moment of hope.

A singular Aki was the difference for Phoenix. Just one more and alpha would have been out. Dang. Oh well.

8:26 It's too bad Chika didn't have a third Akiho on that turn, could've gave it to Garudamon and cleared the game to meet her bother in the finals. Now we have an interesting final on our hands! At 3:20 Alphamon Ouryuken activated the end of turn effect but it wasn't the end of turn anymore thanks to the Dorumon's Inheritable. Nontheless It's really cool to see Alphamon being able to do such moves

At 3:28, wouldn't the memory being at 0 stop the end of turn condition for Ouryuken's effect?
