I went with the mgi zip navigator deal from Costco. Gave my clicgear to my dad my mgi has remote controlled caddy is perfect in every way but this is good for the American market I just personally want something designed exclusively for its intended purpose
You press the forward and it starts going forward and keeps going unless you hit the center (stop) button. If you push forward multiple times it keeps adjusting the speed faster
Great video. I just ordered the V2, won't arrive until after Christmas. On their website they have a dual turning wheel attachment you can put on the ClicGear 3, 3.5 and 4 but not the 8. I guess my question would be, if you could do it over, would you use a dual turning wheels vs the stationary wheels if you had that option?
It's hard to say without experiencing it but I would think yes. The 4 wheels provide much more stability and the rotating front wheel(s) make it steer easier. Sounds like the best of both worlds
Great video. I'm looking to get one myself for my clicgear 3.5 . I do have the seat on mine, i hope i will still be able to attach the seat and the ewheels. I have been looking around to purchase it, where did you get yours from.
gilgilly I will check with Alphard Golf to see if they have a solution for members with existing seats. (I have not put a seat on mine so I don't know first-hand). As for where to get an eWheels unit, I believe both intheholegolf.com and golfdiscount.com both have it for sale online. Otherwise I would contact Alphard Golf USA as they are very helpful.
I did not have to adjust mine at all. Is the front wheel swiveling? Is the ewheels centered in the back clamps? If so I would reach out to Alphard Golf customer support.
If two player are each using the same model will the remote still work. You mentioned the remote is synced to device. Does this keep each one from being confused?
Because your front wheels don't swivel you have to move forward or backwards and while you're in motion you can turn left or right but it will be a gentle turn the slower you move. But it doesn't appear according to your video to have the mustard to do even 9 holes. Hey where'd you go?
I have used this many rounds and have never had an issue getting over 18 holes with it but I can't quite get 27 holes. If you look at my other videos I now have this on a 3 wheel cart with a swiveling front wheel as it turns much better.
@@93civiccpe good to hear. at first thought there were issues. as long as it moves and never just bogs down and complete stop. also, how is the "follow me" function? not sure if there is video of it in action?
@@jermanehoowse4618 I don't believe it has a follow me function unless there's been an upgrade. It has the cruise control which maintains the same speed even on declines but no follow me capability that I'm aware of.
Hi Liked your video. Any updates yet ? One comment I heard was that between shots you could spend your time steering the cart with the remote instead of thinking about your next shot ? Any thoughts ? Thanks
jack crimmins good morning Jack. So far I've played more wet rounds than dry ones so I don't have as much footage but I can attest that this holds up very well in wet & muddy conditions. I'm hoping to get a dry weekend with decent weather to walk 27 and give that feedback. As far as steering the cart, I do not find it overly distracting. If you are near water you will want to pay close attention but I have been able to stay in the moment thinking about my next shot while steering the cart ahead. The pre-programmed buttons that send the cart straight ahead to a set distance are helpful if you are helping to locate a players lost ball and want the cart to go ahead but not get into trouble. I've actually been playing better and I wonder if part of it is after bad shots in getting to walk the fairway and distract myself by focusing on the steering instead of sitting in a cart dwelling on the bad shot. Whatever it is, I have been enjoying the rounds more and shooting better.
Hi Thank you for replying so quickly. One more question if I could. Did you buy it direct or from a store ? At this time they basically are sold out and trying to to get any info from them has been very difficult. The best they will say is sometime after the first of the year. Thanks Jack@@93civiccpe
I need to update this as my information was wrong.. The standard seat accessory by clickgear / rovic works with the ewheels and here is a video showing how to use it with the bracket: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7ZpuPuT3l8I.html
Supposedly the kit cost somewhere around $559., you can get a brand new Electric Push cart w/ remote for that much. I have a ClickGear +3.5 and thought of this product. Thought it will only cost around $200 to add to my existing $250 ClickGear push cart. Not cheap enough for me to add.,
Chantz Pannha I have looked at the other units in this price range and felt the features of the eWheels unit was superior, especially if they make a quick clamp set of wheels to easily be able to use it as a manual push cart as well. The designated electric carts in this price category do not pack up as small and the carts are not as nice/do not have the same accessories & features.
con $ 559 è possibile acquistare carrelli elettrici economici (non di qualità) inoltre è possibile avere un comando radio, mancano i normali carrelli elettrici. per me, ottima idea, ovviamente non per tutti :-)
