@@TCsAnythingGoes I watched all your videos yesterday and now subscribed to your channel I just bought a 2010 20 series alphard. Me hopeless and too lazy to do any DIY!! Would love to install the following upgrade: 1- Tesla style head unit (or 10.1" screen) with better rear camera parking. 2 - auto mirror close/open when locking 3 - cruise control 4 - some kind of large screen for rear.
Thanks for your kind words. Here are my advice: 1. Forget Tesla style headunits. If it hangs, your AC is gonna be stuck till you reboot (and sometimes this means turning the engine off ). Best to separate the two functions 2. Side mirror or all mirrors? Mine came with auto close side mirrors so I am not sure what is needed to have the same installed on yours. Is yours a Vellfire? 3. Cruise control - Mine is a bit of a rare spec (adaptive cruise control with Lane Keep Assist function). I don't think enabling the cruise control is as easy as just putting the cruise control stalk since cruise control has its own sensors, brake switch and ECM. 4. I am using a 17 inch screen for the rear. My advice, get something smaller. Around 12 inches would be good enough. My problem with the 17 inch is that my front passenger always knock her head on the corner of the screen when she turns her head.
@@TCsAnythingGoes i got the same cruise control as yours.. Anyhow mine stopped working after a fault code appear due to removal of catalytic converter... Not sure either its got o2 sensor or not
I want to do this, when weather improves (I don't have covered parking) The sites I can buy from all make it seem simpler than your install, so thank you for the good instructions.
I was hoping that there was a simpler way to do this. But sitting and staring at it for an entire day and this is what I can come out with cause I can't seem to find the correct signal wire nearer to the door.
Hi Bro, do you have any tutorial video for installing power boot and power sliding door for Toyota Alphard AHN10 Year 2002 ? Hope to hear from you soon.
I added links to wiring diagrams on another post, I do wonder the same, if this wiring can be simplified with the knowledge that can be gained from the diagrams.
1:44 how did you go about painting the steering wheel emblem? My chrome is peeling off from the centre and heard the emblem isn’t replaceable due to it being the airbag
Sir ... I already installed following your video , it works once or twice, but after that it's not working... Don't know what happened, you have any suggestions ... Thanks
Can we just join the button wiring with existing manual door handle cable? since it have same function. So we don't need to install extra wiring to the dashboard.
@TC's Anything Goes oo oke, about the signal you connect to blue and pink wire, is there's a chance of different wire position on socket/connector between car models? mine is alphard s 2009. Should i stick to the wire colour or the position of wire on the socket? for example your blue wire is at the last connector from the bottom but you not mention which pin hole is the blue wire sit. If your blue wire sit on second row of the bottom connector while mine is at third row, should i connect the signal to the blue wire (where ever it is as long at the bottom connector) or connect the signal to the (what ever color) wire on second row? i hope you understand what i mean, and i want to say thank you for all of your alphard video is helping and inspiring me alot...🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️ I have change my window inner rubber mold with your video guide, also the upgrade of side mirror..and now i will try this auto sliding button video (this one is more challanging for me haha)...the button is already arrived and ready to install...i hope this will be success like the other...sekali lagi terima kasih 😊🙏🙏🙏 oh can i request how to change front ultrasonic parking sensor, mine is not working maybe thats why my Intellegent Parking Assist not function 🙏🙏🙏
@@donnyrahman1 I believe its the same but if unsure, you can always take the top buttons out and do a continuity test to make sure its the correct button (that's what I did) Hopefully its a success for you as well. If its the parking sensor, then its a simple unplug and plug a new one. Just gotta take the front bumper out if you want easier access.
