The only parts of Austria I was in was Vienna,Salzburg and Innsbruck. We did take the train from Innsbruck to Garmish tho a few years ago.Vienna was a separate trip.
Can someone tell me how they get the coasters back up the hill???? Wow, what a ride that I would LOVE to take but Germany is far from New Mexico USA where I live. GREAT video and thanks for sharing, emilio1434! DANKE!!!!
+Doug Celeste You can see the lift at about 1:03 in the video on the left side of the screen. It's actually pretty cool - they're pulled up hanging from a hook, and they're released at the top into a round house with a spiral track where they queue up for the next riders. This is in Austria by the way, not Germany.
+Rob Aiello Thanks for your interesting notes. I saw the lift to the left but no cars hanging. WOW, what a scenic and fast ride and I wonder if these people used any brakes on the way down since they were going so fast! And I have an Austrian friend who lives in Idaho and I will have to ask her if she has ever ridden something like this.
@Sexydragon96 Me too.The two on the east coast are at Deep Creek Resort in Md.mear PA.The other one is a new one at Attitash near Jackson,NH.I've ridden the alpine slide there.
