The Churwalden Pradaschier Mountain Coaster is the longest (Rodelbahn) Toboggan Run in Switzerland.
With 31 corners and a drop in altitude of almost 500m (1,650ft), this toboggan run winds its way down the valley for more than 3.1km (2 miles).
Open all year round, (Weather dependant in Winter).
This was so much fun I am glad I purchased the 3 x Toboggan Ride including Chairlift ticket.
Filmed February, 2023.
All filmed on the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max using PolarPro Filters & the DJI Action 2 with Magnetic Headband (4K 30fps)

Ive been riding this coaster off and on for years thanks to the videos! My favorite is winter, and the taboggan rides to!

It is near Chur, the closest airport is Zurich. It is just over an hour by direct train. And it is great fun, I bought the 3 ride pass, well worth it.

@@ausflyerDo you know if they work on Tuesdays? Could I buy the tickets there? I don't want to risk buying them online and then not being able to because of the weather since I'm going on December 26

@jiarpa1 it is open Daily from December 9th through to the 1st of April. 9am to 4pm (depending on weather conditions). I purchased my tickets that morning online after confirming the weather was ok. I read from the description that you filmed the whole ride using iPhone 14 pro max and DJI action 2. I will go here next month and would like to film too but I don’t have action camera. How did you film using iPhone because I thought smartphones are banned throughout the whole ride?

The initial part of the video at the base of the mountain and the chairlift ride to the top were all done with the iPhone. The ride itself was done with the DJI Action 2 mounted to a headband that I wore. Holding a phone or camera on the toboggan are not permitted (and they have cameras covering most of the track to check on riders).

@@ausflyer thank you. I'm going there tomorrow. The info on their site says December until April 1.. so weird. One more question, do you know that water case protector for cellphones? You can hang it in your neck with a cord. Do you know if I can use my phone on that? Thank you again

@@mumia7469 9 December until 1 April 2024 10.30 to 16.00 is the Winter Season, 18 May until 28 June from 09.30 to 17.00 are the current Toboggan & Chairlift hours. I am not sure if they will allow something like that, you will need to ask. The action Camera I used was on a special head mounted strap which could not move or come off without some force.
