I love fourth wing! It brought me back from years of book slump. I do love the trope and genre, so it probably was one of the factors why I love it so much. Rebecca's writing style as well is really good. Her husband is in the military, it is probably why she has a good grasp about politics and the art of war which I appreciate. I hope you'll love it as well! ❤

It's a classic, but Little Women is a great Christmas read. As far as decorating early goes, I totally agree - but when you live in a small apartment, decorating isn't always easy with such little space. I envy those with the space to store their christmas decorations during the year.

I laughed At your honk vs no honk side rant. I have always had the rule that I just don’t honk unless it’s an emergency. I get so scared and stressed if someone honks at me because sometimes I wait a little extra if I’m not sure I can merge because I have 2 babies in the car always so I can’t imagine how scared an elderly person would be and possibly panic and crash or shoot out in traffic at an intersection. Honking can cause accidents TEAM NO HONK!❤

I decorated the week after Halloween lol. It’s my first Christmas as a married woman and finally having our own place so I wanted to cherish it longer than just the month of December! Also I figure if I’m not hosting thanksgiving might as well get straight to Christmas 😂

We are Spanish (from Venezuela) but we’ve lived in FL for forever now and we still put our tree up at the beginning of November and keep it up until the first week of January.. I love Christmas and I’m keeping the same traditions with my husband (he is Italian American). So excited to do our tree next year with our little boy! (currently expecting).

I have to say, several vlogs back, Jess recommended the Inheritance Game books. I took a chance, and read the whole trilogy. I absolutely loved them! It's clean of sensuality, and language, which I was so thankful for. I loved the story of rags to riches (with mysterious strings attached), and the mystery and suspense aspect of it was really interesting. I love a good mystery, and this was a good mystery. Also, for anybody that likes good, clean mysteries, I would recommend the author Dee Henderson. She's a really good, clean, Christian author, and her mysteries are gripping.

The 'A Court of Thrones and Roses' by Sarah J Maas is a great intro to fantasy too. 1st book is good and easy to get through, but 2nd and 3rd are both amazinggg!!! If you like Fourth Wing, I would definitely recommend getting into this series

Love the weekly vlogs. I'm a little late to the game haha (I've been a little busy), but I still enjoy watching a bunch of your vlogs in a row. You are definitely my comfort youtuber xx Also to answer your question, I'm both team honk and no honk. I feel like there's a time and a place to do something like that. If someone cuts you off and almost clips you, absolutely honk. If the light turns green and they're not moving (after a couple seconds), I do a quick, polite little "toot toot". But for your situation, I absolutely would NOT have honked. I agree that that's totally rude and says "yo, move from your spot so I can park there". Not cool.

I’ve been taught if you do two short/quick honks, it’s basically translated as a polite honk. People do that if they are letting people go ahead of them or saying hi to someone 👍🏽

I agree on the honks lol 😅 I just look for another spot too, it’s not a big deal 😊 My kids r older now so they don’t care too much about the decorating anymore but I do it because it spreads joy and I know my young adult/teen kids still like seeing it. I hope it grows on them to decorate when they have a family ❤plus for me it’s about celebrating Jesus the more I can🙏 during this season & To be able to reflect on all He’s done for our family all year. The book I’m starting to read is by Max Lucado “Help is Here, finding fresh strength and purpose in the power of the Holy Spirit”. i’m currently reading the quiet tenant and it’s really good so far. each chapter is a point of a view from each character and they’re short chapters. it’s about a victim in a kidnapping case, so i’m not sure how you feel about that. it’s #1 on 2023 thrillers right now!

I totally agree with you on the honking situation!! I’m from Maine but moved to California last year, and people out here are CRAZY with their horns😂 I feel like it’s so mean/aggressive to honk, but it’s first instinct for most people out here haha!

In regards to the honking, I usually see flashing your brights as the "nice honk". i.e. if you need to let someone know they can go, just give em a little flash 😊

My best friend and I have read the Ice Breaker series and the Beyond the Play series and they’re really good. They’re sports rom-coms so super easy reads. The Graham Effect is the next one on our list 😂
