La Blogotheque will always be the best thing I've ever discovered when I was 17.

Love the fact that they didn't play the songs that have achieved commercial success, they played the songs that sound amazing live and make the most of the boys epic harmonies. ( also my two favorite tracks off an awesome wave :)

I love Alt J so much.. I think I will never stop listening to An Awesome Wave.

on their facebook page, they say "alt-J (∆)’s name takes a little explaining. Pronounced “alt-J”, the delta sign is created when you hold down the alt key on your computer keyboard and punch ‘J’ on a Mac computer. The symbol has a deeper meaning for the band, as guitarist/bassist Gwil Sainsbury notes, “in mathematical equations it’s used to show change,” and the band’s relatively new name came at a turning point in their lives." i think it's a great name once you know the backstory...

I'm not sure if there's a filter on the camera lens, or if its the natural lighting, but i find the colour balance of this vid to be beautiful, and really fit the vibe of the video itself and the music. Great job by the cameramen.

I love the old judgemental man in the back towarsa the end. His nod of approval and general enjoyment of the music is wonderful. You can totally tell with his nod as he walks away, there is an internal "they are good kids ❤"

You ever read a book and when you finish it you just sit there in complete silence sad that it's over but happy you had to chance to experience it? That's me discovering this channel. And being in complete separation from the outside world and totally submerged into this raw beautiful art.

Joe is one of those rare natural performers that actually sound better live than they do recorded. Incredible.

I love how the old man in the background sorta stares and stares at them like he was saying "Damn Hippies."

Nail Noonan, there is something on the camera called zoom. He could be 15 feel away and get a close up shot of their faces. The camera operators of La Blogotheque Take Away Shows are some of thee best I have seen. Yes I have seen many different styles of filming, these ppl are some of the best. I love this band, soo awesome!

Everytime I listen to them I know exactly, why I love them so much.

I don't think anybody around them realises quite how magic what they've experienced is. Yet somehow this is what makes it all the more special.

Alt-J are fantastic, they suit the French lifestyle and atmosphere very well, and their music captivates everyone around them. A truly great band.

Not heard a take away show this good since the first Bon Iver performances... absolutely fantastic!!

Being a deaf drummer must take some talent!! This band truly is phenomenal.

What I like about Matilda the most (which I like everything about it), but the most is the verse referring to the wrote and the writ.

Note to self: Pay more attention when out in town, I mean you never know right....

I respect this band so much. I have almost no clue why. their music is just perfect. She makes the sound, the sound she makes to calm me down. all of their music just mellows me out. that basically explains it.

These songs, with Newman's distinct & harmonious voice reminds me of the faces from the past, the ones that haunt me as much as thrive me, from those moments once held so preciously in life to a gap in today. Even to the point of the artistic beauty in the music video by La Blogothèque. Their scenery depicts such a matching tone to the music(except that old guy in then end that completely ruined a shot in an adorable senior citizen moment) and made this one of the most pleasant 7 and a half minutes i have ever heard.

Wow, just amazing versions of Mathilda and Dissolve Me. The best band in the world. I saw them live in Gothenburg, Sweden this summer, and after the show me and my friends met them in the bar, and we talked for like an hour about everything. Awesome people. More bands should be like them to their fans.

Hey Charlie... ;).. remember one thing... The "Old Man"... maybe was just enjoying...has he also is in age of refering some of the Greatest bands or singuers that Started all of this kind of music ! Remember that ! I am 52..lived the 70's...the 80's (UaU)..the 90's, the 2000's and... still Here for concerts and Good music...Unifying people all-over the world, liking the same tastes ! Intemporal , when it is GOOD. Simple as that. The "Old-man" was just enjoying the beauty of these sounds of youth
