This is such a haunting Tale. I know mysterious book that is evil is nothing new in terms of literary tropes, but this execution was so well done I was wide-eyed awake with Terror! It is a brilliantly told story but do not expect you to lull you to sleep and give you nice dreams. That said---wonderful read aloud Z!
