We parked near church in Toblach (46.7353169N, 12.2254453E) (1). The parking place was free of charge. There is another parking place nearby (46.7337697N, 12.2255739E) and you can also park near railway station (46.7244597N, 12.2263872E). We started in low season so there was no problem with parking at all. It could be different in high season ... We did not book ticketa online for the bus to Lago di Braies - online booking of tickets is neccessary only in high season, so we bought ticket in bus (2). We booked all of them at beginning of January 2023 and it was almost too late. We had to change our original timetable and start earlier, because a lot of rifugios were full. Especially rifugios in area Lagazuoi - Averau.
