I'm an ethnic Polynesian and I feel so much connection to both Native Americans and Mongols/Altaic Turks. When i went to Yosemite a few years ago it was a surreal experience. Being surrounded by God given nature, truly felt like I belonged there. Thank you AltaiKai for your beautiful music and for sharing your people's music and heritage with the rest of the world!
And I'm thinking about inviting Native Americans to Russia:) There are really lots of similarities in everything. Check out these tales and the channel, there are a number of tales of Native Siberians: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ex7z5pG4aOM.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nEf7HyZPD7E.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ebyX2HfZIHc.html
Native Americans came from Siberia (~30000 years ago) including Altai ( technically the Altai people are Native Americans and vice versa), which is the origin of this group www.history.com/news/native-americans-hailed-from-siberian-highlands-dna-reveals
ITS so interesting when you go back enough in time the origins are all similar. Im born in the Netherlands and the little bit of info that is left for example we had some deity called the Old Lady and elves and deer. Our most sacred tree is the oak. Most of this connection got whiped out and forgotten for a very long time. I'm really happy this connection is still alive in some places of the world. It helps us reconnect to the true religion and nature of being human.

There is this man on the left - he is one of the founders - he has always been there and not once have I seen him play with passion or play at all. Yet, he seems to know how to live...
@@snakey934Snakeybakey a good question, actually:) You can find Sean Patrick Quirk somewhere, he lives in Tuva and does throat singing in the main local orchestra of traditional music. His Tuvan is great, very fluent:) As Altai and Tuva are close, he knows a lot abt the culture, including finding translations.
@@odbayar I would like to know where to buy Altai tradition blue dress as in the video especially the hat but without the rope that goes down only hat where can I buy it Amazon? 👍
Great Performance. Greetings to the steppes of siberia I am a Turk and see the culturell relations with the Altai people. Tuva, Mongolia, Yakut. The music, language and spirit is shared in our hearts.
The combination of influences captured here are amazing, African Berber, Middle East, Native American, Asian, Nepal, Indian, Mongolian, Russian, Chech, Turkey. every tone and voice reminds me of so many different ancient places I have traveled. Amazing tells there rich history
@@yeetman4953 I got that. The point is once you study culture you understand they are all linked art, music, foods, cultures influence others over millennia, not modern years. The instruments and melodies here are thousands of years old at some point skills were traded. You could only tell this once you travel the world and understand how similar things are between 4,000 year old Chinese, 2,500 year old Arab and 300,000 year African culture
