Altec Model 19 (Nineteen) Part #3 - Disassembly and Cleaning 

I have the 19's and bought them new in 1977 and recently refinished the exterior, light sand with 180 grit and final sand with 320 grit, rub on tung oil and they look like new, and the sound, yup it's all that........

Speaker pr0n....this is awesome! I heard "Ride like the Wind" thru a pair of these at Playback once and was blown away!

One of the all time great speakers.

The woofers resemble Electro Voice a bit.. heavy duty diecast frames
