I found your channel about 2 months ago and wow am I impressed. I love how you apologize for the long videos, but I would watch it even if it was 4 hours long. Yeah I know...never gonna happen! You really explain everything, step by step and your voice is very nice to listen to. I know you spend hours doing these videos, so I wanted to say...thank you for taking this time out for us. Your work is definitely appreciated!
Nice! All of your videos are so professionally done. Thank you for that! It is painful to watch some people’s videos...they are looking for things they have forgotten to gather, the camera is not focused, you name it! Always a pleasure to watch yours!
I have the full set of Copic markers, but I am adding the Altenew markers because they come in color families for quick and easy color choices. I have followed you for years and appreciate the time and effort you take to help all of us make wise buying choices. It is so much easier to invest in craft supplies when someone you "know and trust" gives you their honest opinion. Thank you for the wonderful job you do.
Jennifer - you are my happy time ! I so look forward to your videos and have learned so much from you over the last year. You crack me up when you say you aren’t an expert or artist.... so modest. Your talent and gifts for sharing them is a blessing to many and I’m so glad to be a faithful follower.
Wish I could afford these now, but am looking forward sometime in the future to hopefully be able to get them. (Retirement money, ugh!). You are a wonderful teacher and a joy to listen to. Your cards and techniques were fantastic. Thanks for taking your time to share them with us!
thank you for sharing your expert advise, I came across you about six months ago and have told all my cardmaking friends about you so you now have a few more viewers from Adelaide , Australia .thank you again you are such a pleasure to listen to and watch.
I purchased 5 sets of these markers and love them. I am too old to invest in Copic but these were an affordable alternative. Thanks for demonstrating how you use them. Your cards are beautiful. I love everything you do.
Qué lindos marcadores!!! 💗 *Pintar sólido también queda bonito: gracias por demostrarlo.* 💗 Gracias por las ideas!! Y por enseñarnos tanto!!! 💗 _GENIA ABSOLUTA!!!_ Besos!!
Absolutely brilliant! Love that you tell how you are not a colorist, but love to color just the same. The fact that you can get no line coloring with the Altenew Markers is wonderful. And yes, Crayola's definitely leave the scribble lines. LOL! Beautiful cards from a beautiful lady!
Jenn O.K. So after I got done watching this tutorial I had to come back and say what I've been wanting to say ever since I found you on You Tube. These are SOOoooo Breathtaking Beautiful, I'm at AWWWWW right now. Everything that you have created is so Breathtaking Beautiful, Exquisite, We are all lucky to have you teach us some beautiful art. I know that Altenew is having orders blowing up their computers all the time now I bet, all because of your amazing, phenomenal Beautiful creative talent that you have. You are just amazing, I wish I had half of your beautiful, amazing talent! I know one thing though; ALTENEW Artist Company will be taken over this world, with everyone loving and buying all of their products. Because I sure am I have fallen in love with everything. And their Watercolor ink paint lines is Phenomenal, in the 50 + years that I've been painting, I've never had any paints that look as beautiful as Altenews is, Now I can't say how creamy and smooth that they are, But I'll tell you one thing! As soon as I get some money or my Disability check comes that money is going to their products, so I can start enjoying my art work a lot better. Thank You Jenn, Now I better stop blowing up your blog ; )
Hi Jennifer. I have been using these markers since June last year and as these were the only ones I have I found them fantastic, but more importantly I haven’t had to refill these. I also have them ready. I was also lucky enough to have the Prettiest Pomander stamp last week (UK got an early release) and I love this stamp. I have got some fantastic results combining the two. I love Altenew and their products are amazing. 💕💕
LOVE this video Jennifer, thank you so much for reviewing the AlteNew Markers, it was a fair and thorough one! I’ve been strongly considering these and you’ve convinced me to purchase them even though I too own a large set of Copics already. The colors of these markers is stunning and gorgeous, the blending though is the icing on the cake! ❤️
These are gorgeous cards, Jennifer. Thank you for sharing =) I really like the Altenew Artist Markers too. I have mentioned this multiple times to Altenew. I have a tight grip which makes coloring a little challenging for me. These markers help my hand relax while coloring.
Altenew colors are so gorgeous! I have some alcohol markers from StampinUp, but I really like the looks you can achieve with the color family idea. Maybe I’ll start building my collection one set at a time. On my wish list would be a “Set of the Month” purchase option. 😊
Wow! So many beautiful cards! I really love the artist markers and have the full set. I don't own any copics because I found them daughting, however when altenew released their artist markers I thought they already in colour families and an affordable introduction to alcohol markers. Loved all your points and the techniques you demonstrated so helpful. Thank you for this video, so good for a novice like myself. Cheers Lisa
These are absolutely gorgeous, Jennifer...holy moly! What wonderful tips for coloring with alcohol markers...I tell ya...I NEED a $$$$ tree!! LOL Love, Love, Love....
Great video! Thank you so much for this demonstration. I have never tried them because they aren’t affordable for me. But now I can try them without breaking the budget. 😃
These really are such stunning cards, Jennifer. I do have the ALT alcohol markers but honestly, I need to practice more. I do love that there is a fine point tip on these markers, unlike Copics (however you can buy the fine tip nibs if you don't mind changing them out). My sole purpose for buying these markers, because I do have Copics, was because of their matching dye inks/cardstock as I struggle with choosing colors. I had so much fun watching this tutorial Jennifer. Thank you and have yourself a wonderful day!
Jennifer, This is such a helpful video. I am not good with markers and often choose stamps and dies just so I don't have to color and then let designer paper do the color for me. After watching this I think I would like to try some of these sets and get over my fear!!! Thank you.
You color so good with your alcohol markers! I wish I could color that good! Very professional looking! I can't get over your coloring. You add some much shades and details, that I can not do! Your flowers really look like they are jumping right off the page and they have a lot of texture! I have to try the flicking technique. It looks fabulous. Love it! You are so talented! Maybe one day if I keep practicing. Wow I didn't know that Altenew had their own alcohol marker line and that they match the inks! I am adding them to my wish list! Thanks for all your inspiration! I really enjoyed your video, thanks for doing this for us. Gives me something to look forward too.
This video makes me wish I hadn't bought any alcohol markers so I could purchase Altenew markers with the color families. Thank you Jennifer for the thorough review and the lovely samples.
How I wish these were available before I started with my Copic collection. You are so right the price for those are getting out of control and these are a great price.
This really is packed full of clever tips. Thank you! I'm off to try the scoring technique with Altenew's Delicate Tiles stamp, and the rotating in a stamp press to fill in stamped images at both edges quickly, and to have a good look at whether my first layering stamp will work without the outline!
So sad you lost the swatches! Heart sinking feeling looking forward to future comparison especially the ultramarine blues with the artic blues. Love copics blending! These would be my next choice and more affordable closer blends than many other companies
YAY!!!!!!!!! I Love it, I never could understand why? WHY? they haven't made Markers like this! I'm SOOOOOooooooo HAPPY! THANK YOU ALTENEW. I'm so glad that we thought I mean You thought of that! I guess I'll be buying new Markers, maybe by now since it's Now in a couple they'll have more to the sets! I'm so super excited! And their Watercolor Ink paints with all that beautiful colors!Money! I'm going shopping!!!! And your Cards is sooooo beautiful, I Love those colors. Sorry Jenn I almost forgot to tell you lol, lol, lol, TY, TTYL
I love ALL your cards but seriously, that last one that looks like no-line coloring is calling my name; I suck at no-line coloring. LOL Love this detailed video - thank you!!

Jennifer, I am love crafts especially making cards, I feel intimidated by die cuts. Do you have a video showing a how to for a newbie. Please reply. Thank you so much 😊
Jennifer, as usual, you do such a wonderful job in explaining what and how (and also why in this video). Thanks for all you do for us to learn from, and I really enjoyed the 'whys' of the Altenew Artist Markers, so will look into buying some of those! Thank you!! BTW, could you have taken your Altenew color chart somewhere with you, like your Mom's, or could it be in your car? Maybe Roxy hid it in that big bed of hers? (LOL) Check all the couch and chair cushions, as well as underneath those, too! Hope it shows up for you so you don't have to go to all that work all over again! {{{Hugs!}}}
