There are great guirarists, great singers and great songwriters all over the world. Myles Kennedy is all of these. Mark tremonti provides the vehicle for him to flourish. In Alter Bridge we have been given a gift. Thank you.
Mark's voice fits PERFECTLY with Myles's voice! Just when I think I've seen/heard it all from these guys, they prove me wrong. They truly are one of the best, if not the best band in rock nowadays
Myles has always been one of my top 2 vocalists and this video shows exactly why. I have loved this band since the beginning and it really is sad that they don't get more recognition. They actually have talent and a message to send, unlike the new pop stars such as Miley Cyrus or those other child stars that everybody wants to be like. I really wish true music such as this would be appreciated by the youths. Just think of how much better our society would be.
Everyday I wake up and I listen to this song and Rise Today. They are such motivational and inspiring songs. They've become like my personal mantras for this whole year. The line "We could be so much more than we are." How true is that? Rock on Alterbridge! This band is huge and their music...beyond phenomenal.

DANG dude, tremonti has a beautiful voice! You can hear him doing the backup singing in the albums but this acoustic version really shows you he can sing REALLY well. and i mean we all know myles is amazing, i was just surprised at how great marks voice sounds

I cant believe these guys are still playing in small clubs. Its amazing how many people who listen to rock and roll, still havent heard of these guys. These guys are one of the best bands out there. Not enough exposure. Anyways I'll be seeing them the day after Thanksgiving at a club in Flint MI. I guess we should feel lucky to catch them in a small venue, cause I belive they'll be playing arena's soon.
these guys need to come out with an acoustic cd with their songs from both cd's. its amazing how they converted their rock/metal style into a beautiful acoustic melody.
Wow, these guys are unbelievable! Myles is almost as good a singer as he is songwriter and i give his voice 10/10! Even if you're not a fan of their sound, how can you not appreciate their message?!!
I love Alter Birdge, they are ideal rock band, they have not released a song i dont' like. Both their album are amazing! Their acoustic stuff is great aswel. I like Mark Tremonti's voice. I love Myles Kennedys voice. Thanks Alter Birdge from some truly great music.
What an incredible band... Their stuff has only just started to be shown on music channels like Scuzz over here in the UK.. Lets hope 2009 is an awesome year for them.

I got the chance to meet these guys twice. And I'll say they were the nicest musicians and individuals. I got to talk to Mark a bit a gear and his Guitar World columns, and he actually gave me some practice tips. Really classy people.
To all who read this...Music knows no age.It is there for anyone, no matter who or what you are, or where you come from.If I kept to the norm of my ethnicity and age I would be missing out on so much.This may sound crazy but I listen to Myles sing Hallelujah on nights I have trouble falling asleep.And so does my 11 year old daughter.Whatever works.
For sure the best band in the last 10 years...and the best of rock actually Great singer, amazing guitarrist,bassist and drummer. Even coming for Creed this guys can put Creed at one side... These guys are for me the modern Led Zeppelin

I want to hear more of Tremonti singing after watching this video. You guys have already said how great him and Myles sound together, and I completely agree. It works great, and being the opinionated and selfish consumer that I am, now I want more. Long live AB.

yep. Myles was born in 1969, so he just turned 39 at the end of November. never would've guessed that, huh? I know I sure was shocked when I found out how old he is. he's simply amazing.
How come alter bridge's music isn't more popular?! Its so amazing all their songs I love rather than than today's one hit wonder crap that probably get more money for doing one song than Alter Bridge! Some of today's music is totally bollocks! peace to the good old music which requires actually playing an instrument rather than machines doing it for you! stupid techno, etc!
amen. Myles can't just play guitar, he flat out rocks!! he doesn't do it a lot in AB, but there are vids out there of Myles shredding. he's just amazing!
@brokenwingzzzz You aren't kidding, these guys are just amazing. I'm a new Alter Bridge fan and I hate to think about what I've been missing all these years. But I'm making up for it now! I'm going through some tough times in my life right now and it sounds corny but music is helping me through. I listen to the song Breathe Again and I feel better every time. GIves me hope that when this crap in my life is over I WILL breathe again . . . . .
I would like to piggy back on two comments: 1. Alter Bridge is the best band on the planet right now. 2. Mark Tremonti is a heck of a singer. I would also like to add that Myles shows a lot of promise as a song writer on this album.
