You're the first reactor I've watched to fully acknowledge the long note. It's a testament to Myles Kennedy's voice just how well it blends with the instruments but does unfortunately mean that it gets overlooked by a lot of creators

I saw and meet this band in the early 2000's in Hampton Va. It was a free concert held outdoors in the center of town. The band Creed had broken up and they then formed this band. They are wonderful people and they are an amazing band. The singer Myles is mind blowing! I have this album and the whole album is phenomenal!!!!!!!

This is their most, soulfully connecting song for me ever, both vocally and musically (hence my appreciation for the solo). 4.) It's 2 guitarists playing the solos, the lead singer, Miles Kennedy, doing the first part where it's more melodic and then when it gets intense it's the lead guitarist Mark Tremonti that melts your face off with orgasmic spasms resonating throughout every cell in you.

Great reaction. Alter bridge are imo one of the most underrated bands out there. Myles Kennedy is one of the greatest living rock vocalists, he has a four octave range and he has spent a long time training and practising techniques to support his voice which allows hims to sustain those notes and to sing so high in full voice, he has also studied bel canto operatic style to help with his breath support. When you consider the complexity of what Myles in doing vocally, the fact that his guitar work is also of such a high calibre is astounding. His solos even sound like blues vocalisations and I live how different his playing is from Tremonti's excellent precision playing. They compliment each other beautifully.

Your ears are spot on picking up the two guitar soloists back to back...mad props. Watch it live and you will see how they pull it off. Plus the lead guitarist has an amazing voice as well...much more music from these guys that you need to hear!

Blackbird is a heartbreaker. Not to mention, the guitar solo was recognized as one of the best of all time. You can feel the emotion that's being portrayed in the song. As Myles Kennedy was writing the song, his close friend Mark Morse died. So not only was it written about him, it was dedicated to him.

This is what happens when you take one of the best vocalists (Myles) and one of the best guitarists (Mark) in the world and put them together. It's perfection.

Myles Kennedys dad was the pastor of our church growing up. He, myself and our friend Mark made up the youth group in our church. Many great times hanging out together. He was a drummer in the marching band in highschool. So talented. He still goes back to Spokane Washington to do concerts.

Genuinely the best reaction video I've ever seen. Thoughtful, funny as hell in the lead up to the first chorus, respected the guitar solo and you were very impressively picking up on some details (such as the two separate solos back to back - most people only hear that as one). I often read recommendations pointing out, you have to hear this, you have to hear that. Having seen them three times live on German stages, last time in Hamburg, Nov. 2019. If you experience them on stage, especially Myles (voice) & Mark (guitar) you are goosebumped for god damn months because of each single song. I don't know any current rock singer with a better voice (range) cause you can feel his classic singing education every time.

Why did I see this a day late?? I've always been a tremendous AB fan since their beginnings, and have always wanted you to react to this song. You could react to their entire discography and wouldn't find a bad song in either of their 6 studio albums. Yeah, a couple others have mentioned already, but there were two different guitar players dropping solos. Myles Kennedy (the insanely talented singer) gave us the first one, and Mark Tremonti (a criminally underrated player) graced us with the second blistering solo.

Also I meant to say in my comment that they did this concert to promote their band because they were brand new and were unheard of. We liked Creed and didn't know what to expect so we went cause it was free. We went straight out and bought their album soon after that concert lol!!! I think maybe two hundred people were there if that. Cherished memory for sure!!!

Yeah it were two separate guys doing the guitar solos. The first one was by Myles Kennedy, the lead vocalist who also plays (backing) guitar in most of their songs and the second one was by mark Tremonti, the lead guitarist.

Usually there are lead and rhythm guitars in bands but alter bridge is different, sometimes they almost Blend together. Amazing musicianship.
