Sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Ryker Camden Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Not always the case but sort of the general rule with Alter Bridge guitar, if it's got a lot of soul and makes you feel something, it's Myles. If it melts your face off, it's Mark!
This may be the best description of the differing styles of guitar playing. Mark has been on record and said (whether being humble or truthful it’s impossible to tell) that Myles is the better guitarist. We all know mark is insane and been voted best guitarist, but Myles is overlooked and incredibly incredibly talented.
YES!!! And yes whoevers pic was shown is who was playing! Myles actually considers himself a guitarist before a vocalist. Very talented and underrated! The song is about a failing relationship. They built a fortress together and its all falling apart. Its so hard to request what song of theirs to do next! Literally their whole discography is gold! Maybe Life Must Go On? Show me a Leader? Or The Last Hero? Or do Wouldn't you Rather off their new album?? Honestly i think you should just start at their first album and make your way through them all. So so so many incredible songs!
There's a simple rule that Alter Bridge always follows: "We don't do bad songs". Please, please, react to Dying Light, from their last album and one of the EPIC classification... Thank you!!!
Totally agree. Left a message saying the same thing, hadn't seen your comment at that point so not trying to steal your thunder, just definitely agree that it is one of their best. Good man.
YASSSS! Find the Real would be another great one, very first song on their very first album. Myles' voice does things to me 😍 Speaking of that, and your questions of Myles on the guitar - YES. I think he taught guitar for quite a while before his career as a vocalist took off. Myles has a solo album called Year of the Tiger, and I dare you to do a reaction vid and not cry. It's a concept album about his father's death. Ok I've edited my comment again LOL. AB has come such a long way as a band and Walk The Sky is their newest album. Try Forever Falling (more Tremonti-fueled) or The Bitter End, In The Deep, or Walking the Sky.
My interpretation of the lyrics are of divorce in a young family. The family being the Fortress. And the line "Now I hold on to the one thing, too fragile to stand on it's own" being his infant.
The live version of this song with the orchestra gives the studio version a good run and shows its not only greatness in the studio. Alter Bridge is real pure talent.
I can't believe it. I left the same message above before seeing your comment and I did the same on a previous Alter Bridge reaction. We love Slash Myles Kennedy and the conspirators and I totally agree that Anastasia is a great place to start. Nice one mate.
You can literally do anything with Alter Bridge. They have zero bad songs. Maybe try out Anastasia - Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators!! Myles other band!!
As much as you enjoy them you really need to watch them live at the Royal Albert Hall. Long concert but not a dull moment and they have an orchestra behind them. I think it's on Prime video right now.
Long time listener: first time posting because “The Fortress ain’t coming down on ya boy.” was the greatest thing ever. Congratulations on your marriage from a D-Gibby and Wife fan 😀
Probably one of the best reactions you’ve done. You can literally witness the journey that song put you through from start (when you didn’t know what to think) to the end where you’re kinda just in AWE. 🤘🏼love it.
Yeeesssss D Gibby. We're up at night again in England watching the channel. Love the review mate, Fortress is a classic and made up that you are loving Alter Bridge. Will be waiting for you next Alter Bridge Review. As I said though in one of my previous comments, I am gonna keep nagging you (in a friendly way, no pressure) to review Anastasia by Slash, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Would love to know what you think. Good job mate, take it easy and have a good weekend.
2. By the way mate Addicted To Pain by Alter Bridge is unreal. Was fortunate enough to see them in Manchester last December before lockdown and they closed the gig out with that song. One of the best nights of our lives, was an honour and privelege to see them play, would love to know what you think of that song. Take it easy mate.
This is a divorce song, and it's Myle's. It is actually a divorce album, look at the titles. The Fortress is simply the conclusion of the process of the inevitable.
It took a while for me to truly love this song, but now it is one of my favourites. My interpretation of it is that there's a relationship that's failing (perhaps a marriage) where the singer is still deeply in love, but the partner is moving on, things are not healthy, but the singer keep clinging on; praying that this fortress (relationship) remains standing. Friends, family and outsiders see their relationship as strong... maybe even perfect, but the interior view of this relationship shows that everything is crumbling, there's no saving it... and overall the singer has a sense of betrayal because he/she had hoped that the relationship could have lasted and feels hurt for how the relationship ended (messy divorce perhaps?)
Great reaction again man! First time I heard Fortress it felt like 2 separate songs stitched together, but after a few listens realised its brilliance! If you wanna check out something a bit different but still utterly brilliant. Try "indoctrination" from their latest album its superb man!
Can I keep my ears?? 😂😂😂 Yeah man ....the solos that shake your soul belong to Myles....the ones that melt your face off belong to the Termontster! AB forever!! 🤘🏻
Dude! I'm brand new to your channel and I've scrolled back three or four years now of your videos. I'm a huge alter bridge fan. And I'm glad to see you react to these. Can I just say (This is how you react to videos) That's why you have over a million subscribers. Now add one more. I'm not a patreon yet. But I will be. I'm a little financially embarrassed. 😅 Maybe I haven't gone back far enough and if not let me know. Check out Tool- the Pot! It is literally one of the coolest songs. I'm dying to see your reaction to this song. You have to check out the studio version.
From what i remember myles plays the intro then the solo is a combination of myles and mark. Like someone has if its more soulful and bluesy then its myles the faster shredding is mark.
Every video of words darker that gets traction gets blocked. The live portion of it kills it. But I’m glad I saw your reaction before it went bye bye. Do something off their newest album! The bitter end, walking on the sky, wouldn’t you rather. Any of em. All of em.
Anything from Tremonti’s “A Dying Machine” album. Namely “Throw them to the lions”, “Bringer of War”, “Traipse” or “A Lot Like Sin.” Btw you got me into Tremonti and I discovered greatness
