Alter Bridge performed this beautiful ballad off their debut album 'One Day Remains' several years back in the studios of Sirius. Enjoy this rare performance!
Mark's a genius, the best guitarist of our generation. Tons of people can shred on a guitar, but few can write rythm parts that are powerful enough to carry the entire song.
You're absolutely right dude.... In most of AB's songs,Mark Tremonti's guitar riffs actually seems like it sings too ;-) .... Anyone agree's with me?? Btw Mark Tremonti is my Guitar IDOL bcoz i liked he's tunning so much that he's tunning got me into playing guitar till today... OPEN ''G'' n DROP ''D'' are my fav. though.... \m/
Tyler Olson yeah but at the same time I want to here some songs that they’ve never played electric live played electric: watch over you, wonderful life I’m sure there are others
This is how they performed this song back on the first tour when I saw them, and it is still one of "those" live moments for me even over 10 years later.
I just love this song:-* wrote by Mark to his mother , who passed away:-* deep and honest... if you dont have a tear in your eye after listening, guess you just dont get it.... Thank You bros:-* inspired me to write songs xo ,,,,,tabloyd xo
Oh back when Myles still had to make a name for himself. Man did that guy pour everything he had into each performance!! As for the rest of the guys, amazing... as always
wow, superb acoustic version..... i so want a 12 string.... people behind have no clue how lucky they are to be in one frame with this awesome bunch of talented guys.... just beautiful.....
Jeez. Alter Bridge was already my favorite band. They've gotten me through all the hardships and celebrations of my life. and Myles Kennedy established himself as the best vocalist I've ever witnessed. But to be able to sing this song in it's entirety without breaking down and crying? I applaud him. I definitely can't do that.
It's amazing how strong you can be when you need to be. When my 4yr old talks about his granddad (my dad) who died when he was mere weeks old, I have to hold it together. Granted, sometimes I can't, and I dare say there are times Mark can't. There's a live version of this song floating around and you can see him biting his lip to hold it all back.
this is when you feel the bass and you realize that every cigarette you smoke was a fake... long live Brian, long live, Tremonti, long live Myles, long live live Mr. 'Flip', long live AB, and long live music \m/
Old footage of Brian wirh long hair always throws me for a sec I thought they had a session bassist in 😂. Nothing compares to Myles singing this live. He still kills it every time that falsetto is so incredible.
this song is directly behind #1 Gone Away by Offspring #2 What hurts the most by Jefreey Steele and this here. If you deal with a lost play this playlist non stop
I loved Creed, GNR, don't hate me but I think this band has reached a new area. . . into peoples heart and soul. hope they find a way to stay together and make more great tunes I love this band.
This song is awsome thanks Mark for writing it and thank you both for singing it for us :) R.I.P charlie m and chuck f ....we miss you everyday love u both
I never knew what it was to be alone, no 'Cause you were always there for me You were always home waiting But now I come home and it's not the same, no It feels empty and alone I just can't believe you're gone. Mark Tremonti wrote this about his mother, who sadly passed away.RIP Tremonti mom
The things I would do to have the looks and voice of Myles and the fingers and techniques of Mark Tremonti. FUCK!! THESE TWO ARE THE GREATEST DUO OF ALL TIME!! Nothing against Scott and Brian but I LIVE for Myles and Mark.
Wow he killed it on the 12 string! this performance is sick! 12 string aint that easy to do the licks hes doing... wowzer Mark tremontio you are the man
Yea, as long as you rest and warm up properly, avoid cold drinks, dairy and drink some tea(not too hot). Ginger tea is really good for getting your throat muscles relaxed.. Another thing that helps is at least two hours before the gig just try some light humming to get your vocal chords loosened up and then do some light exercises without pushing or straining at all. I'd recommend Jaime Vendera's Raise Your Voice, It will help with placement of tone and eliminating strain. Hope that helps :)
Thanks for all you've done I've missed you for so long I can't believe you're gone You still live in me I feel you in the wind You guide me constantly I've never knew what it was to be alone, no 'Cause you were always there for me You were always home waiting And I'll come home and I miss your face so Smiling down on me I close my eyes to see And I know, you're a part of me And it's your song that sets me free I sing it while I feel I can't hold on I sing tonight 'cause it comforts me I carry the things that remind me of you In loving memory of The one that was so true You were as kind as you could be And even though you're gone You still mean the world to me I've never knew what it was to be alone, no 'Cause you were always there for me You were always home waiting But now I come home and it's not the same, no It feels empty and alone I can't believe you're gone And I know, you're a part of me And it's your song that sets me free I sing it while I feel I can't hold on I sing tonight 'cause it comforts me I'm glad He set you free from sorrow I'll still love you more tomorrow And you will be here with me still And what you did you did with feeling And you always found the meaning And you always will And you always will And you always will And I know, you're a part of me And it's your song that sets me free I sing it while I feel I can't hold on I sing tonight 'cause it comforts me
Great Congaplayer... by the way, this song makes me fucking cry, because I`ve lost my father, brother and my wife in different way´s and that`s it. Myles Kennedy is so fuckin`awesome !
Justin Bieber is going to be remembered far more than alter bridge and I swear a big part of that is going to be because you can't go on any music video without people commenting about the dude. I've never listened to any of his music and yet I know he exists and its purely because people won't shut up about him and let it die.
