Got to see them last night in my hometown finally after 20 years. They traded off guitar solos and lead vocals between Mark and Myles just to show how well rounded they are. Mark killed it on vocals and Myles had some extremely heartfelt solos.

Myles said in an interview that he cringes when he sees this video. It said he had no idea what to do with his hands because he had no mic or guitar. You can actually see how he uncomfortable he is.

I think many people are forgetting a lot of a bands “sound” is the guitar section... This “sound” is very much Tremonti’s natural style. It’s going to show no matter what he does. With that being said, his skill level and song writing abilities are wayyyyyy above the credit he gets for it. Fucking awesome 👌🏼

Nostalgia. I heard it first time on VH1 when I was shuffling through channels. I couldn't listen to the whole song because it already played for 2:00 mins I guess. But I can vividly remember Myles Kennedy's voice. To be honest that's what caught my attention. Since then I became an explorer of music and have searched and listened to various artists of different genres, languages, etc. So, thank you Alterbridge for introducing me too such a delicate part of human life, MUSIC.

I feel like this song was originally written for Creed’s use. Seeing as this was off Alter Bridge’s debut album, it’s entirely possible that some Wind-Up Records label execs pushed targeted Creed singles onto Alter Bridge as a guarantee for success. The opening riff is signature Tremonti-Creed (think “Higher”). Even Myles Kennedy’s voice is contained within a melodic range that Scott Stapp would’ve been comfortable in. They’ve since broken free of those kinds of songs. But this ...I always think, “this had to have been a Creed song first,” every time I hear it.

The song that started it all. I love this first album. It has a raw sound that their more polished music never had again. I get that it is not the sound that made them who they are now, but it is so solid the title track of this CD is still one of my favorites by them.
