Beautiful journal… love the idea of using embossing folders! I have plenty of them. Can’t wait to go to my local Goodwill to find a book and give this a try. Thanks and have a blessed day. Laurie, from New Hampshire. 🩷
Second watch of your video. Yesterday I watched on my Roku tv before leaving to visit my little granddaughter. Love your ideas and love the elements you used. When I get a chance I will be following along with how you draw and paint your flowers on book pages ❤ 📚 🌸 🌺 🎨 Which brand of markers to make the dots? Take care Lori. 😊 💕 Big Like 👍
I have enjoyed listening to you. Enjoyed the poem n info that went with it. I have to find a book that I Don't like..lol couldn't do that to my children's books. Hah. You have an easy going voice, very calming, almostnlike you are whispering. Glad I found your channel❤
Hi Lori New subscriber to your channel. I was inspired to your channel by Celeste at Woodland Inspired. You are so inspiring as you are so free spirited with your crafting with creating your junk journal. It is not about perfection. Your voice is soothing and calming. I have had a stressful couple of years with my health. I need to be calmer in my life. So journal making is so something I am finding relaxing. Thank you for sharing! Crafty hugs from my channel to yours 🎀🩷🎀
Good morning Lori💕 Thank you for sharing your process, enjoyed watching while having my morning coffee. The pansies are so pretty and I think I have some napkins with them on it. Hope you have a beautiful day, big hugs🥰
👋 good morning Celeste! The idea that we had morning coffee “together” made me smile 😊 I’ll be sure to watch your next video in the morning with my coffee too! Pansies are often used here in NC during the “winter” season in commercial building borders and planters. Yes, they’re so pretty, aren’t they? Yes!
It was very interesting and calming watching your video! I do have art journals that I have purchased, but this looks like so much fun! Thank you for sharing.
Happy to spend time together! The actual reconstruction of the old book has a unique joy, and then adding experimental art ideas just adds onto the fun. I’d definitely recommend the experience! Happy crafting 🩵Lori
Thank you for stopping in and watching! So glad you’re also enjoying the process of this altering an old book adventure in your own craft room! 🩵 happy crafting 🩵 Lori
Hi Lori, i have some English family members who died in Flanders fields (WW1). It’s a great poem - all those people who died. Such devastation 😢Waving from J in tasmania 🇦🇺
Oh my - how we can live across the globe from each other and yet the pain and tragedy of a world war so long ago still impacts us all. Sad. On a happier note - this junk journaling/art community is so wonderful. Here we are, “meeting each other” and distance or time isn’t a barrier. One way it’s possible for social media to make the world a friendlier space. 👋 hello from North Carolina in the USA. 🩵 Lori
