While Jinzo fighting a trap deck and still losing is funny, I kinda wish the other player just played Monarchs with Jinzo in the main.

I honestly think Kragen Control deserves a one take testing, its such a simple yet shockingly effective deck that can potentially completely floodgate your opponent

As an altergeist player it is hilarious to watch people say how bad the deck is and then watch them misplay left and right. Doesnt even have primebanshee is the extra which is a facilitator for memorygant OTK.

Surprised that Secret Village of the Spellcaster didn't get a shoutout, since it's basically a one sided Imperial Order for the deck. I'd say it's better than running Rivalry in this current format at the very least.

Wow...this is some rough gameplay. I lost track of the misplays. And like there were so many cool routes you just skipped because multifaker go brrrrrr.

Replace the Rivalries with 2 Secret Village and 1 Terraforming. It’s not a super spicy tech, I feel like it’s a bit generic, but it’s better than the Rivalries

I've had a practice partner that plays altergeists a lot and my god it's so evident that mbt practically never touched altergeists before But that's understandable, can't expect someone to know the ins and outs of a deck that's barely playable currently

I'm very much not a fan of rivalry main because it doesn't do anything now. Swordsoul can play in wyrmlock and bird up can play with only winged Beasts. It annoys drytron but they don't lose to it hard enough to make it worth. I guess it beats prank kid?

I feel like a lot of ppl take mbt’s one take testing/ten minute testing as a definitive take on decks. Just play and test yourself and come up with your own conclusions. Altergiest are far from a bad deck. Probably one of the better t2 decks and can definitely compete with meta

Joseph, you seem to be missing the main appeal of the archetype, the one thing that sets it apart from other trap-based decks, it's composed entirely by robot girls, and unlike Traptrix, it's won't alert the FBI of your location Also in the anime they are played by Ghost Gal, who's nice

With the amount of people complaining here that mbt misplayed, it seems like there should be a ten minutes more testing segment where dzeef comes and helps mbt through one duel

This is the most atrocious gameplay I’ve seen in my life, this game shouldn’t have been close

Even as he plays the deck not the best way, he still wins easily

I played against an Altergeist dude on DB a week or so ago and literally beat the entire deck just by using DPE. Try to bounce it? Nah, he blew himself up. Negated with Protocol? Nah, he comes back anyway. The card was just able to out pace their traps every turn because they never found Solemns. As much as I like Altergeist, because they are one of the more fun trap decks in my opinion, they're too much of a dice roll deck for this format (and most formats these days). Just play Traptrix for the time being; its new cards are neat and the Heavenly Prison guy works in that deck.

Earlier tonight I played against Altergeist with my Cyber Dragon deck on EDOPRO. Going into turn 6 (my turn) I was leading in LPs 8000-2300 and my opponent only had Multifaker in DEF, 3 set cards and no cards in hand at the start of my Main Phase 1. They had used Imperm on my Cyber Dragon Infinity during my draw phase so I couldn't do anything with that. I proceeded to bring out Chimeratech Rampage Dragon with 3 materials off of Overload Fusion to clear their 3 set cards to push for game. Turns out all 3 set cards were Waking the Dragon. They proceeded to negate anything else I did the rest of the turn and cleared my board during their turn bringing me down from 6000 (I had used Anaconda's effect during my previous turn) to 1700. I bricked on my next draw and conceded. And then I go on RU-vid and see this video had just been posted. So currently I'm a little salty about this deck right now 😐😐. Nothing against you MBT though. Really enjoy your content. Keep it up.
