I think that if you want to retract the flap form 15 to up , it means that go around , so first of all push TOGA , then flap 1( using the alternate flap switch ) then normal procedure for go around .
In order to create the failure, both hydraulic pumps are switched off to prevent the hydraulic flap system operating. It isn’t a perfect way to create the failure. But yes you are correct, to dispatch, you must not have an RF which is

@@tomharper8402 thanks for your comment. That’s not something that I have been made aware of. The SYS page isn’t normally up whilst flying so not something I would have noticed. Maybe the next time I fly, I could check it out.
@@robertmorgan9621 yeh no worries correct the lower DU should be blanked for better awareness in case of engine issues but it’s checked before departure or at least should be but the sim isn’t the most accurate as was mentioned
THE VIDEO IS TO DEMONSTRATE THE ALTERNATE SYSTEM. THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM HAS BEEN FRIGGED TO PREVENT HYDRAULIC FLUID MOVING THE FLAPS SO IGNORE NORMAL SWITCH POSITIONS. IT WAS A WORK AROUND. 👍
