Okay, I feel that as a Pole I should analyse what I just saw Revolt against Russia - interesting. Probably not very realistic, but well, maybe if someone supported us it would make sense We would probably join Entente, that was good Love the fact that we gained Gdańsk! Probably in this scenario, as a country independent in 1914, we would be more able to achieve it. Now, I have a feeling that you just copied our leaders from the list on the internet. And that's bad, because that would be possibly different. But okay, let's presume interwar went similarly, that wasn't very impossible Successfull Warsaw Uprising... I don't know. If it turned into an uprising all over Poland... maybe? But still... okay, perhaps USSR would be satisfied with its gains like Ukraine and Belarus. Still, that was rather hard to achieve Although, I like the idea of two Polands. Mainly because my family would have been living in the capitalist one. So I would feel as people living in former West Germany Definitely we wouldn't take that much from Germany. In our world, Allies agreed on that because Stalin insisted. I bet that Exiled Government wouldn't even want that much. These lands were too German, no less than Saxony or Hanover. The idea of Polish Królewiec is very creative! That one was very good I also like that Soviets left us Eastern Galicia as well as Vilnus Now, with the Polish reunification comes the worst part Until now, copy pasting of leaders worked fairly well. But here... why would politicians from Eastern Poland rule in united Poland? Ridiculous. Lech Wałęsa would be no one more but a freedom fighter. And all our presidents... you see, they were not the best politicians, I'm 100% sure they wouldn't be elected. Maybe barring notable exceptions. Democracy would work completely different. I bet that PiS wouldn't exist or be very weak, Tusk would be a president. We would still have parties like PPS. Duda... I hate him, you made me angry with putting him here. So, apart from some minor mistakes and great dissapointment at the end, it was a good video. I like your choice of music and mapping style. I also recommend reading more about important political figures who could have become leaders if history went differently
Sorry for responding so late, but thanks for taking the time to analyse my video in depth. I do have a few responses to what you said: 1. Revolt against russia - I agree that it definitely isn’t realistic. I was extremely lazy at the time and didnt go into much research, so my method for this was “i like it so ill include it”. a lot of this video has a lack of thought for realism and i do apologise. 2. Your definitely correct about the higher chance of poland fully annexing gdańsk however, again, i unfortunately didnt put much thought into that so i was lucky it makes sense in this timeline 3. Your correct about me copying a list from the internet (wikipedia, specifically 😔). I didn’t consider anything different for leaders and politics here due to me not going too deep into research. 4. I justified the success in the warsaw uprising because of other cities soon following their lead. Although i didn’t mention it in events, you can see that other cities in occupied/annexed land do stage an uprising too. 5. 100% right about poland unrealistically taking that much land. Considering that poland (west poland) would have been able to negotiate its borders independently youd be right. Thats my bad and I should of calmed down a bit in poland getting more land. Again, my “i like it so ill include it” method was used here with minimal research 😬. 6. I am proud with my królewiec idea, especially considering a few months later in real life the Polish government had taken a stricter stance in the naming of Kaliningrad (insisting it be called królewiec). Vilnus and eastern galicia being kept as part of poland was also something i liked quite a bit. 7. Once again your correct about politicians. Who would lead the reunified country would be very different to how I portrayed it, again, lack of research and I apologise. 8. I dont live in poland so i don’t follow Polish politics much but sorry that duda being president disappointed you. Although i do know that poles that live in the west of the country tend to have a higher dislike of duda and PiS so it’s understandable lol. Thanks for your feedback though! I hope to eventually create a new alternate history video (i was thinking modern italy) and ill be definitely putting more research into it.
@@PolskaMapper Oh, that's alright! I'm also responding late. And I'm also sorry for getting too emotional at the end... So... it seems that years of watching mapping actually made me an expert! I saw many things correctly. And yes, I thought that the list of leaders was exactly from Wikipedia haha. I'm also happy that you actually understood me and agree with what I pointed out. Italy as the next topic? Cool! Do you have some more specific ideas? Maybe I can help, I know Italian history (especially XIXth century and Mussolini Era) quite well
Great video but I do feel like Poland would have gotten less of Germany It was a compensation for the loss of territories in the east afterall Perhaps Poland would have gotten Silesia but not Pomerania
Exactly. We got that many lands because Stalin didn't know if he would take something from Germany. If he was sure that GDR was to exist, he wouldn't give us that much

Really good scenario, but, Correction: Putting "Democracy V. Communism" as the ideologies of the cold war is innaccurate. Communism is an Economic System and Democracy is a Political System. Democracy can be applied to Communism, Dictatorship can be applied to Communism, and vice versa. I feel a more accurate ideological system would be "Capitalism v. Socialism", or something like that.
