Even tho I knew that the Union of Britain would eventually cease to exist, I certainly didn't thought that it would happen in 2083 by the veterans that returned from Horn of Africa!
This has got to be one of the best and most realistic scenarios I've ever seen. It is absolutely possible for a socialist country to adopt a capitalist economic system while still maintaining its socialist iconography. I love the thought put into how such a state (and a world) deals with modern and post-modern problems of climate change and automation (which many other scenarios fail to consider.) This is a higher quality of story-telling. Looking forward to new videos.
I mean no absolutely not, a socialist country that adopts a capitalist or rather non-socialist economic system is no longer Socialist only by name and all the benefits like healthcare or pension those are not socialist so please take your Lefty-centrist-social-Democratic ideas everywhere since in the end Bread can mix with butter but that would stop making it Bread since it has Butter on it.
The British history in the Weltreich is literally equivalent to this quote you've seen all over the internet "You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain"
@@lettergam6282 surely some, but many rest in heaven. May their legacy live on and may their name be honored! Give me at least one Bolshevik who doesn't rot in hell though

This scenario is cool, and it kind of inspired my Shaysreich series. Good job!
I am surprised that the Union of Britain does not exist anymore from 2083 but it was perhaps also inevitable because from 2061 the politics and especially the elections are similar to the United States in reality.
This is one of your most amazing videos so far Lefting their monarchist past for a new socialist nation and a future way for the republic...Britain is the most complex nation for the Weltreich lore. One question: What happened with the royal family? I hope the next with will be amazing as it was this video
This has to be one of the best scenarios I’ve seen. A lot also can suggest what may have happened to the rest of the world including the remnant countries of the Weltreich or the SSA.
Also, since Ireland is also in this new British Republic, you should probably bring back the Northern Irish Cross into the Union Jack. Just like with the original UK.
alternate history of australia (remaining weltreich) 1998-2089 i would love to see how to weltreich is doing after all this time and its relations to germany
Alternate Future of Weltreich Australia. Can you Take inspiration from Azad Hinds Video of Australia Civil War. (My idea (You can choose to incorporate it if you like) is Australia was better prepared on the Great Flood and They turned Into a green energy Country Also Not using fossil Fuels since 2053 so the Sea level there is maintained to the pre level) (why You may be thinking I ask this. Well For the story Doing this puts an interesting perspective. While the rest of the world Is panicked and wasn’t Prepared for it. Australia However was and giving the proof That Communism was on its way out.) (also Another request is that for the leaders you use The Monarch On the left and The Chancellor/Prime Minister on the Right) (People would love to see the hopefully bright future of Monarchist Australia) Many thanks, Your Biggest Weltreich Fan.

@@GeneralissimusStalin17 It wasn't a famine but a genocide on ukrainian population ordered by Stalin and subhumans like you are as disgusting as a Holocaust deniers. Stalin In a letter to Kaganovich dated August 11, 1932, the Vozhd wrote: "If we do not take action now to correct the situation in Ukraine, we may lose Ukraine... To set ourselves the goal of turning Ukraine into a real fortress of the USSR in the shortest possible time; to a true model republic. Don't waste money on it" Speaking of Kaganovich, the main perpetrator of this Genocide On November 1, 1932, "instructed" local activists to carry out bread procurement tasks, demanded decisive action against the saboteurs, denied any talks about reducing the plan, even revealed subversive activities on the part of hungry Ukrainians who spread "Kurkul sentiments" and they talked about hunger. Thats what happen when you dont purge revisionists, they end up deposing you. Ie: USSR during 80s, deng xiaoping's china (to a lesser extent), most of european "communist" parties post 1956
He would be good if he also though of agriculture and working inteligence. He was so extremist but goog. The two next were terrible, Kinnock prepared the country to war, Skinner was able to rule the country in the dark years of war. Blair and Beckett were reconstructing the country after war but Beckett's August crisis was a disaster. Starmer was a grea politician that restored democracy. Baxter as the first democratic chairman wa the most succesfull in the Second cold war. Camran was continuing with democratization and cold war, Bell's policy of automatization was good but too fast and caused economical crisis which was the main reason of the disastrous qualities of next politicians that destroyed the environment and lost the Third cold war after the fall of the Soviet Bloc, while the Third World War will be probably nuclear apocalypse or victory of Teutonic Communist, Caliphate Socialist and also Russian Nationalist, that all will fight for revenge on the nations that flooded their homes.
Because I wanna see Germanys Leaders and An in depth Alternate history and future. Also another idea for an alternate future for Weltreich. Like what if people actually cooperated and Prevented the Great 70s Flood?
Very sad story for Great Britain Apart of this fundamental part, very good mapping style and some interesting solutions were implemented So much of British greatness was destroyed in Red Terror At least Scotland could be kept independent Totalitarian cult of personality Anti-intelligence measures Harold Wilson seems quite okay, technocratic socialism is quite okay Poor Ireland, had to lose its independence again Democracy, okay. But brought massive chaos One possible explanation is that British syndycalist system destroyed democracy, just how communism destroyed Russia and now democracy can't function, so Putin came to power Finally, it seems that Britain becomes a more or less okay state, but it would need a lot of honest peace to become prosperous
IMO, the best althists are those where you can actually kmagine how it would be living in your country in said althist. Weltreich is one of those, I honestly would orefer to live in the SUB instead of the UK.
I like how a small country of Georgia had more happy years than a world power like Britain in Weltreich There are two good periods in Britain: Technocratic era, starting with Wilson's ascension to power. No idea where it ends exactly, but probably with election of the first neoconservative government. And it has some gaps, because there are economic hardships like WW2 The second one, I believe, begins with the Romantic Revolution. If it's based on Third Position and sentiment towards monarchy, it can't be bad Actually, I'm really sad that in this world British conservatives are like the worst stereotypical exploiters. Believe me, rarely you meet a person like this
Because you don't spend time with rich industrialists. And basing your identity on Britain in 1700s wasnt good idea as that period was extremely aristocratic and anti common people
@@nazalostizsrbije well, partially yes, but communism was never a way. Besides, many rich industrialists are also humans and don't treat their employees like mere objects. It happens, but it's not a rule. Britain does have deeply-rooted problems, but they're not as simple and easy to solve as some would think
Although the video itself is cool and all, it still reaks of author's lack in basic knowledge of economics. Never can a socialist state adapt a capitalist economy, because capitalism itself requires that monopolies of any kind and centralised top to bottom state apparatus (power monopoly) are not present within the life of the society. Capitalism is an anti-state laissez-faire social system, under which economy is made up of small and middle sized private businesses. What is described in this video is hybrid state controlled economics. Market trade conducted by and through state apparatus and monopolies is not capitalism.
You forgot to consider that naturally capitalism breeds monopolies if you think capitalism is just small and medium businesses. In this video the UOB is explicitly capitalist because the state abolished the socialist system and reinstate private monopoly capital. Also to guarantee the existence of private property you need the state
@@economicserfdom4087 every single Monopoly that existed and exists are not natural and were and are kept in place by corrupt state apparatus. Natural Monopolies are a lie. They do not exist. Capitalism can't produce a monopoly because in the free laissez-faire market someone will always find a way to undermine or outcompete any business that tries to monopolize something.
@@nazalostizsrbije there is no "my definition". Capitalism is anti-state anti-monopoly free enterprise method of organizing free market based exchange of goods, services and capital within any given society. All other "definitions" were created by socialists and other tyrants to brainwash uneducated and naive people into following their destructive ideas.
i think its supposed to be like China, where they absoluetly have monopolies and massive retail and tech giants, but controlled and owned by the Chinese government, but in Britain and the Western syndicalist nations
Hmmm, it's quite interesting... in the early period of UoB, it was ruled by actual communists. Since 1963, it was ruled by Labourers I would say that the second period was better :)
