Alternate History - What if Xytan 'Jar Wattinree Survived? 

Honestly the way he died was mildly infuriating. Just imagine how in shock the prophets were when they heard that Xytan was killed not by a spartan but by a grunt and two engineers.

Another alt-universe idea: Mendicant Bias never told the Truth, Mercy, or Regret what humanity was, and from the events of Contact Harvest onward, Humanity is ADDED to the Covenant

So in this time line, a grunt saved xytan's life.... Xytan should personally thank that grunt

I persoanlly think Xytan would be more inclined to listen to Thel. Before becoming the Arbiter, Thel seemed to have been a major rising star in the Covenant so I'm sure the two would have meet before that and while I don't think Xytan would see Thel as an equal, he would respect his ambition and talents so I think that might be enough to get Xyan to listen. Though I think Xytan would be far more distrustful and would never create a human-Sangheili Alliance once the war ended.

He would be the Supreme Master of the Galaxy! He would definitely forge a new empire akin to that of the Forerunner Empire!

I feel like Xytan is a very intelligent individual and I don't think it would be too difficult for the Arbiter to convince him. Even though he held some of his extreme Covenant beliefs, I'm sure after some time of working with the Humans might change some of his prejudices. In which case is pretty much game-over for all the bad guys. Save for maybe the Flood, those slippery little elder species.

Xytan quite reminds me of Frederick I Barbarossa, Holy Roman Emperor, King of Germany and in his life-time the arguably most experienced, powerful, and tactically skilled monarch Europe had seen in the medieval period. Frederick met his untimely end during the Third Crusade (1190) in a distant land at the head of the largest European force of crusaders ever amassed, nearly 100,000 men. Had he not drowned in the Saleph River in a freak accident and possible cardiac arrest, Frederick's forces would have drastically altered the Third Crusade and likely Christianity's position in the Holy Land. That's where I see the closest resemblance of Frederick I Barbarossa to Xytan in the lore, an extremely popular and effective leader, laid waste by something largely out of their control. The deaths of whom altered the events of history. Funny how often real history can play into the lore of our favorite universes.

I think the way he died was pretty good honestly, it was quite humiliating for a person of such great honor and a person with such a massive ego too. I mean he basically spearheaded the entire covenant navy and even after learning of the san shyuum deception continued to want to be a glorified psychopath cargo cult, and at the end, in the most ironic way possible, he was done in by a grunt and a few engineers that got too curious. The irony in all of it is beautiful.

He was literally the Covenants “Alexander the Great”

Writing a fanfiction about this, he and the Arbiter have a massive power struggle by the end of Halo 3 and threatened yet another civil war within the sanghili. Ironically; a human and a brute avert it, a large section of the Covenant Remnant is reformed into the Accord and its various species homeworlds are given independent status, and the blooding years is far less severe though still quite chaotic. The actual story takes place from the perspective of a family of humans who immigrated to the Accord's capital, the father of which is a scientist and is working with Oni to not only help educated the various alien species how to learn, build and operate their tech, but to be able to do the same to the humans back home.

Wattinree vs Atriox would be very epic. Atriox would have to be at his peak power and performance. He wouldn’t be allowed to make one mistake. I sort of do wish Atriox killed Wattinree in an epic fleet battle and took over his fleet, instead of Wattinree dying so anticlimactically. That would really convey to everyone that he’s one inconceivably bad-ass brute.

Him being alive could have single handedly carried alot of the campaigne, the wat ge got killed is even worse.

Tbh I do like this what if it does make me think of the other possibilities and with Xytan’s eventual fall. Either way if Xytan betrays the UNSC and Swords of Sangheilios early or not Xytan would eventually fall including other forces and key factors that would be at play here.

You should do an alternate history on what would happen if the banished found the ring from ce before humans or the covenant got there. There could also be one for what would happen if the brutes sided with humans in the great schism. You should also do a joke video for what if female elites looked like they did in all the weird fanart. That would be hilarious!

Imo xytan probably would learn that humanity are the reclaimers and that they are the true holders of the mantle of responsibility and would actually allow humanity to survive all in spite of the prophets

Honestly i think xytan would hear thel out. Xytan being as incredibly intelligent and politically smart, he would understand that humanity isnt the biggest threat and understand that the prophets were actually hurting the sangheli race. Knowing Thel and xytan are very inclined to their tribal ways they would actually probably work together, now Xytan might be a little hostile towards the humans because of old ways and the way things were, but i think it wouldve took him some time to adjust.

Can we get more brute lore I know there is not a lot but can you talk about more of the less know stuff like the grave maker, tosser, legion master, war master, Tronto, and anything else you can find on them am a big fan of the brutes and wish more people would talk about them.

I have to admit this battle would be glorious and bloody. In this matter the grunt that saves the addermal would be very rewarded for his actions. I wonder what would that be? Greater than yim Yap? As for the beliefs of this addmeral I agree with the fact he hates humanity just as much as the covenant. This fact would be the unbalancing of the fighting. The arbiters forces would be underpowered compared to his forces without any doubt. I wonder how this would go down? Glory to clan and kin. Let's get him to glorious standings Covenant Cannon.

He shouldn't have even been a character if they weren't going to make him atleast 2% relevant. Arbiter took his spot but if they weren't even going to mention him once in the games why not let arbiter have his title since he wasn't exiled and basically the dig bick in charge of destroying humanity and was doing it. Until the prophets kicked one of their best and brightest out of the battle for not solving an impossible problem at the time, on top of taking their literal best and brightest out of the fight for being too sigma. He couldn't have known that the literal God of war in halo was really bout it. He knew demons weren't to be underestimated, however, considering he had been responsible for killing numerous Spartans including noble six. If not by hand then by proxy orders. I know having xytan wreck truths fleets would make halo 3 boring, but still they could have fleshed him out at all. Maybe an elite could have been spreading rumors of his death in a non combat area or they could say " FOR XYTAN" while charging at brutes or flood.
