This looks like something I'd see in a Mario 64 dream.

b3313's still getting updates occasionally, they've even been adding new rooms. would be cool to see this Third Floor (Alternate) appear in it if they decide to add more levels

I love so much when people add new rooms that look like theyd be in the actual game… only im my dreams have I see the castle expanded and now its come true

One of the best personalization-esque videos ive seen. Love the floral retreat room especially :)

The part starting at 2:00 felt very reassuring and calming. Especially with that Bob-Omb buddy. That is until Mr. I came and ruined the vibe.

I love how this goes from feeling like some kind of a tutorial or guide to an area, keeping you feeling comfortable and safe until the “unexpected” line. After that, when the explanatory text stops appearing on screen, the heart rate goes up. The extremely eerie and difficult to fathom music makes everything much worse, putting the viewer on edge. Bravo! My only complaint are that the tv static screens are kind of generic. Spooky tv glitch screens are nothing new anymore, I don’t think they needed to be included in this video except for maybe the last one as without it, there would be no indicator that the video has reached a climax.

I really like this! The ominous textboxes of the last pink Bob-Omb, the fog that comes right after it, and the lack of music! I like the way you added an orange "tint" in that Floral Retreat room. I've seen it used by Annielogue & jefftastic but not by many others (in fact I'm not sure if it ever appears in the original game) and it's such a cool effect. I'm surprised I haven't seen many use the eye imagery in such a way in personalization-related videos until now, especially since it's such a basic "spooky" element of the original game. Also, it seems like we can briefly see an alternate second floor at the beginning of the video. I was expecting there to be an "Alternate Second Floor Sighting" video but there wasn't. If you were to ever show this floor (or even just post images of the model) I'd be interested, personally.

Very cool :) Definitely one of the higher quality videos like this. Also, great choice of Piranha Plant's Ballad; it's extremely underutilized in the Mario 64 creepy content community IMHO

I'm really digging in with how the areas designed here. Hoping this'll become a full romhack

i like this! how the castle theme has some kind of... echo and it really goes with the vibes of a dream or this floor as a whole. Make more cool videos of lobbies like this please!!!!

obscure stuff. didn't expect a related youtube rabbit hole that i just dropped by, but i knew that the beta build of mario 64 is cursed by another unknown developer by nintendo, these days in the weird and bizzare side of the personalzation AI.

You should make more videos of this kind, it was enjoyable watching urban legends brought to life

Idk why but in the original castle you can never find any of these luxury rooms filled with a lot paintings and decorations, I think if this would've been part of the game it would've fit very well to the idea of an actual castle and not what we see during the gameplay.

Nice use of the Bob-omb Buddies! Don't see them often in things like this. Also the rooms are beautiful. I wish my copy had these areas :P

Wow I wouldn't go around just letting the world see my personalized copy of sm64 if it was this remarkably fancy, people will want to steal it.

This reminded me of some really long nightmare that I had last year that roughly had to do with being inside of an ai generated castle from Mario 64. It lasted so long and I hated it.

I have this theory about B3313. B3 is personalized to an extent, but it has its guidelines. Thats why we can all talk about the same rooms and know what it means. If someone tells you about a room, its there in your copy now.

This actually reminds me of a dream I had long ago. I was in a room of the castle with a wall in a long oval like shape in the middle. As Mario, I was getting chased by wasps.

Ooooh! I love this little thing you've made, and I especially love the music. If you have the time and/or patience, I would appreciate a full version of that variant of Piranha Plant's Lullaby. I understand if you don't, as making music and maps like this can be time-consuming.
