Some friendly corrections from someone passionate about alt-history: -with spain joining on the axis side and supposedly taking gibraltar the british navy would have had difficulties to support operation torch -I personally think that the soviet union would have collapsed after the fall of the major cities, similarly to the TNO universe
You are right about Spain but I don't think its realistic to think that the soviet union would capitulate just because they lost some keys cities, they still had all the industries in the ural mountains
But you are forgetting the importance of caucaus and stalingrad most of the oil and natural resources were from caucauses and biggest supply hub is stalingrad if germans manages to capture it most of the soviest southern flank will be hungry for supplies african pasific and europan situation is okay but with this much progression for germans this is pretty much over also germans almost reached AA line which is the primary goal
Finally, an actually good alterante history scenario where germany manages to beat back everyone even more, but in the end are pushed, not just basically taking over everything. Keep those videos going!
Can these events happen : 1.Greece faces a coup and an anti facist government is put in charge making greece joining the allied powers 2.If The USSR has pushed back the Germans and the finnish then a truce is signed by the USSR and finland that finland should give the soviets back land before 1939 an join allies. 3. Thailand leaves the war and Japan invades Thailand. Making them join the allies. 4.japan will get a surprise attack for the USSR once Germany surrenders (if that happens).
The Axis had naval superiority in the Mediterranean Sea, thanks to the oil production and the German focus in the Mediterranean, they were able to secure Gibraltar
@@barsukascoolmy friend, how would they be able to invade Northern Africa when they can barely hold Alexandria , and I immagine have all their ships protecting the convoys going to Egypt. Without ships protecting your amphibious assault it would be a massacre, and while one is losing a war, it would be a huge waste of recourses and man power.
In reality it was the swiss taking the gold and jewlery aquired by the nazi holocaust, but at this stage of the war they could have thought to just occupy the country
I heavily doubt, after losing most of their heavily populated land, such as Moscow, Petrograd, Smolensk, Samara, etc, the Russians would be able to mount a counteroffensive for a long while,
@@Italian_Mapper oil doesn’t matter against the soviets, if they lost most major cities and 1 capital and 1 back-up capital (Samara), including many other major cities, they would be devastated. Oil wouldn’t matter, on the eastern front, after this point. The Soviets would barely be able to counter attack as well.
You are understimating the size of the red army and the industrial capabilities of the industries behind the ural mountains, and with the American aids they would surely be able to counter the germans with poor equipment
There is no real reason to the axis to go to war against Switzerland, many nations specially in South America have no reason to go to war or do any civil war, Germany now is way more powerful then our timeline as they have more territories in the east, plus the soviets now have probably way more casualties and less manpower and resources, so if this scenario ends up in total allied victory that’s would be kinda cringe
