The Oxford Center has had remarkable success treating Parkinson's Disease using Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), Neurofeedback Therapy, and Glutathione injections. The Oxford team has been researching over the past year about the positive effects HBOT can have in the treatment of Parkinson's Disease. JeAnnah Powell, our Neurofeedback specialist, has been using a research based intensive approach towards Parkinson's Disease.
Calvin spent the month of October with us at The Oxford Center and has had many positive changes in his journey with Parkinson's Disease. 2:13 getting dressed was an ordeal that wears you out. 4:25 mid-first week noticed i could jump into the van like normal vs struggle. 6:22 had bizarre smells. often with PD one of the first things you lose is your sense of smell. 8:50 i can now get in/out of van easier, type better, see and smell better, get dressed faster/easier.

Is Calvin currently taking any Parkinson's medication? It seems like he has recovered from Parkinson's disease, happy for him. Also, are these procedures covered by medical insurance at all?

Hello Christine, I am not sure on the medications. Some of our Parkinson's protocol is covered by insurance such as PT, OT, and Speech.

Hello Dr, the costs vary depending on which treatments are recommended. In order to find out which treatments we would recommend, we would need to set up a discovery session with our medical staff. This is a free meeting. We currently only have clinics in Michigan.

@@TheOxfordCenter BTW, my father passed away from old age. He had Parkinson's. I was going to see if we could bring him to your clinic, but the Lord Jesus told me that my father's time on earth was short and that it would be a moot point. Best Wishes! I hope that you have continued success in this area and that it become THE functional medicine treatment for Parkinson's and gets on the map!

How old is the patient? He looks quite young, Doenst Parkinson's begin only after the '60s?

Parkinson's Disease can begin at any age although is more typical in people after 50-60 . Example, Michael J Fox was diagnosed at age 29.

Question - I have been doing HBOT twice a week (1 hr @ 1.3 ATA), should I increase the frequency? Could higher pressure (3.0 ATA) be more effective? Note: also taking Carbidopa/Levodopa (100MG CR Tabs) 3x/day.
