We have an approximtely18 year old Alto at home from 2005. 2 lakh+ kilometres chal chuki hai. But guess what, zero complaint on engine. We have mostly driven this cars on rural areas with lots of potholes. The best part is that even today I can drive it at a speed of 90 km/hr with ease. Such a beautiful, reliable and refined petrol engine and an overall package from Maruti. It is an emotion for our family.
I had 1 generation Alto K10. 2011 model. I drove it for 1,25,000 km and sold it. During that i just use to change oil once a year. Coolent and break oil once every 2 years. Car used to run like a charm.
Yes same goes for my wagonr 2010 type 2 😉. Still have it. Planning to sell it. But koi gadi hai hi nhai proper jo ki all in one package ho. Safety hai to sales service bekaar. Sab kuch Shai hai to safety nahi🥺
Bought in last month vxi plus ( before that i owned alto LXI 2011) smooth car height and length good specially leg room for back passenger is very good. Boot space and width of car is less as compare to old alto average i got which is 21 in AC mix highway and city. Overall good car 👍🏻🙂

If someone is considering the top variant of K10 then he/ she must check the ignis base variant. The pricing is almost the same but ignis comes with decent features and comparatively better than K10.
My first car was a M800 have fond memories of it and kept it for 4.5 years and 45000 kms before moving on. This video is beautifully made in Gagan's fast paced inimitable style.
This car makes Entire Sense if a person has a limited budget. Only the Lxi and Vxi models are Value for money.. if you can afford Vxi+ then please check Tiago once too. purchased lxi with accessories for 4.9 lakh on road. Best car in the budget with supreme Relaibilty and refinement. And decent safety rating with stable bodyshell is added advantage.
Most people dont know with very small additions in safety equipment like ESC, airbags, seatbelt reminders, it can score 4 stars so Maruti have thought of SAFETY while making this otherwise it wouldnt have stable bodyshell

Do you even own any Tata to know about it, we have 2 Tata cars in hone both running strong from 5 years. Its not as smooth as MS engines but rest all are way better than MS. Just test ride a brand new Punch or Nexon.
When alto name comes in mind the things you mentioned in video are all the owner wants reliability, low maintenance, small car to drive , long life . And one more thing i like about this brand is its a no nonsense car mens you strictly get what you pay for . Its safe than a bike also has low maintenance than some bikes and a great city car .

Aaj bhi 2nd gen wali Alto K10 use karta hun i20 replace karke city uses aur average aur kam parking space ke liye liya tha , highway me xuv700 ka comport ke baad thora tho adjust karna parta hai. City me driving , parking, mileage ka sukun me tho mera sab adjust karke mujhe tho perfect hai 👍

I don't know why no one is talking about the mileage Gagan mentioned "City 21kmpl & highway 27kmpl". Someone please clarify or confirm if this is possible, because the company claimed ARAI mileage is 24.39 for manual and 24.9 for automatic. I am K10 VXI AGS owner purchased in November 2022. After driving the car for 10 months nearly 10,000 km I'm happy with my choice. My usage is 50/50% between city and highway and I am a light pedal driver yet I'm getting around 18 to 19 mileage only.
@@RAJ-km8gwI believe it is not true nowadays bro. Older generation cars used to the way you said "manual cars are more fuel efficient". But the new technology allows the vehicle with maximum optimization which results more fuel efficiency. Anyways my actual question is more specific/different. The company claimed ARAI mileage itself somewhere near 24kmpl (for manual), which is even not practically possible. I mean in real condition we can get less than or equal to the claimed 24kmpl but not more than that. So once again I repeat my question. How is it possible getting 27kmpl.
I don't like alot and will never buy it. But I do have lot of respect for the car and its engineering. Lot of Indian families have proudly owned this car. low maintainence, high mileage, compact, reliable
From a practical standpoint, iske lower varient hi lena value hai agar budget tight ho. Par iske higher varients lene se much better off hai S-Presso ya Wagon-R. Plus kwid mid varient is more Value then Alto Vxi. Plus 2023 mein Ignis pe attractive discounts hain..
I have S Presso 2022 which has a new engine. I completely agree with you that the engine is refined. Me jab bhi S Presso le kar bahar nikalta hu mujhe lagta hai ki me car game khel raha hu Pickup jabardast. Overtake karna eta easy hai is engine pe. Mileage ka baap hai

6:50 Speed wala issue har Maruti Suzuki car mein hota hai, 5-7 kmph ka difference hota hai, usse MID mein mileage bhi inflated dikhti hai and kms bhi zyada dikhte hain(tank to tak mileage bhi correct calculate ni kr skte). Cheap tricks by Maruti to attract customers saying it has good mileage.
Hello Gagan Sir, New K10, Spresso & Wagon R, out of these 3 which is better to purchase. My priorities are Fun to Ride, best in Handling & fuel efficiency. 80% is In city use.....& very tight budget under 6 Lakhs in Karnataka.......
If tight budget only go for Altok10. Why not wagonr, spresso. Altok10 safer car in crash test with body shell stable. Spresso has body roll. Wagon r unsafe, more expensive. Negative point of Alto is only tyre size. It is 145mm tyre. Mileage of spresso is little more inspite of same engine because of auto start stop feature. If u turn off engine in signal in ur own, u will save more mileage. Only difference between mileage of these 2 cars, otherwise both have same celario wala dual jet engine
