Thanks for the information you provide. Grateful for all the suggestions. I have a question, you added NGK sparkplug, I will be booking Altroz XZA DCA, but I am confused, how do you decide if I should go ahead and change the spark plus. Like is it better to change it as soon as I buy it.. Or are there any parameters that I should consider before changing?

Hi it depends if you find the performance fine for your car then you should not get it replaced

Another question I have is, how do I know that Tata Altroz XZA DCA now has BS6 phase 2? I can't seem to find anything on the website, and I don't trust the showroom salesman.

It will be mentioned in your RC and you can take test drive to ensure that as new phase 2 has very less vibration and noise

I have a bs 6 phase 2 Tata Altroz XZA( DCA). Got delivered in April 2023. Do you think I should change the spark plug for my new car which ran for 2300 km till date.

If you are not facing any issues then you don’t need to change it as it will improve your vehicle performance and mileage but if you don’t have issue with stock vehicle then no need to replace it

This will surely void warranty. But agar service center ko pata na chale, and if they dont open cylinder theres no other way to know. But risk kya hain faulty spark plugs k misfire k alawa?

Not really we got this replacement done by dealer only after asking about the warranty terms. Spark plugs are something that are not replaced on the basis of brand it should be compatible with your car then it will not void warranty

Bro ,talk with the service team ,if there's someone good ,because i have seen an insta comment that some dealer /service team contacted an old altroz user( means his car is not bs6.2) and said that a new component (like c bed section or something) is available for old altroz ,so that nvh and engine vibrations are better contained .i dont know if it is right or wrong,if it is there,worth a try no?so please enquire about this...i dont think that they will drastically change the engine layout,so either they are using better parts or something like that to get extra refinement ..ask about it and discuss about the compatibility...

Remember ,both these cars have manual mode,and it means that you can manually up gear it (from 2 to 3 or 3 to 4),down shifts (from 3to 2 ) can be done by car / by us... Either way it is convenient than a manual car. If you are not ok with the system gear change like it is pushing constantly ,then put it in manual mode

HI i booked altroz XZ manual first then i changed my mind and i booked XZA yesterday.. i drive almost inside the city traffic. Is it worth of buying DCA over manual ? and one more question is how central locking is working in this car ? is it on the door handle or any other seperrate button ?

Yes DCA is a good choice in city traffic and yes you get request sensor on driver’s side door
