I also find this conspicuous underpopularity very interesting. Most people obviously can't process this music. This depth is almost divine, and when I listen to it, I want to be it myself, without effort as the purest spirit. If they played something like this in church, I would be there more often, but only to play the music.😀
Revisiting this album after so many years. It was over a decade ago that I really started getting into ambient music and this album was one of my early favorites. Floating Free is still my favorite piece of yours :)
I can see the ice peeling away from the comet's surface. Blue smoke exudes and streams out of the fumaroles. With an axis of soft tumbling ,the binary comet rides like an immense frozen paralyzed angel.
I'm glad to hear you enjoying it. Thanks! And in case you were wondering, the album art was created from a Hubble image of the coma cluster of galaxies.
@@altusmusic_ca ah yes I can see, it looks great. I have terrible problems getting to sleep and have found certain ambient sounds/music have a very calming effect on me. As soon as I heard this track I just knew it was a winner. Thankyou so much have a great weekend.
Again, very impressed and touched by your sounds. "For all time". What inspires you?? I do hope you are well, and everything is in it's right place. Also love "Cluster of Galaxies" for that "drone" like sound. Hope that doesnt offend. "Accessing the Coma" is also very moving. Each track has it's time and it's effect. You are brilliant. Thanks again.
Inspiration came from a Hubble photo of the coma cluster of galaxies, and then reading more about it: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coma_Cluster Here's the original photo used to create the album art. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coma_Cluster#/media/File:The_Coma_Galaxy_Cluster_as_seen_by_Hubble_Heic0813a.jpg
The best album among the ones I know from your collection, Innerspace being the second best. The beginning really grips me. Have you made or ever thought about making a dark ambient album? With your talent, that would be awesome.
