This episode really shows how crazy the Major is. His war speech is one of the most iconic parts of the series!

For why she's blushing so much, there's not an actual answer, but my reasoning has always been that since they're nazi vampires and get off on people getting slaughtered and eaten. So in the face of their own death, while they may be scared shitless, they're probably a little turned on by it as well.

Vampires in this world if strong enough like Alucard (when in that museum almost fighting Anderson) can be out in daylight but it does still affect them to a degree. Seras can do so at the moment bcus she isn't a fully realized Vampire as she hasn't drunk anyone's blood yet in Full by killing them or drinking her creators blood (as seen through the episodes so far with her constantly being stopped right before doing so). She can keep the full transformation stagnant by drinking Blood Bags or what her and Integra did 🤣. You can tell Seras isn't fully realized bcus she still has her natural blue eyes but when her vampire side takes over they go blood red showing the shift. Yes drinking Integra's blood made Seras stronger or rather she's regaining strength as sleeping in the coffin only does so much on it's own. Seras still needs to feed at the end of the day. Edit: In the Anime Alucard is around 6'3 - 6'6 maybe 6'8 but in the Manga Alucard is 7'4+ but no taller than 8ft. Alucard and Anderson are the same height mind you. When Cat Boy aka Shrödinger said "Guten Tag" to Seras he was saying Hello. It was an intentional jab by the Creator at showing how similar him and Seras looks but you can also take it as Seras catching Schrodinger's fancy with the staring 🤣. What you were thinking on what Alucard did to RIP Van Winkle and how it looked suggestive can be taken as Metaphorical/Psychological (G)rape. This is for 2 reasons; 1) the creator of Hellsing also used to make...naughty manga (not gonna use the real word for it) which is why it was so suggestive but he has said he regrets making them in his youth. Mind you some characters that you see in Hellsing are direct designs straight from characters in those naughty mangas like Sera's, Integra, Rip Van Winkle etc with some of the plot points in Hellsing also taken from said manga. But yes Rip was enjoying it in a twisted way. 2) In its suggestive nature it gives you insight on Alucard as a character on what he is, how he thinks, his "morality" and the lengths he's willing to go to regardless of how it makes him look to everyone else. It's also an indicator of his mysterious past which you're going to see later in the episodes (you will have to not show certain parts on RU-vid for good reason) but it also reflects on Sera's past in a similar way. This anime is Dark for a reason just like Bleach is actually Dark when you read the Manga but not like Hellsing.
